I think Vince Gill is one of the great guitar players of our time. I'd say most rock fans fans unfortunately are not aware of this probably because he is generally thought of as a "country" artist by your typical fan of Clapton/SRV/Jeff Beck/Keith Richards etc. Their loss because this dude ROCKS and his style is so clean, exciting, flawless.

@dgoss1966 the drummer is definately not Steve Gadd, his name is Billy Thomas, and he is one of the best country drummers ive ever heard and he has been playing with Vince for 15 or more years now, and is an extremely nice guy, ive met him on numerous occasions.

its very blues based. he's is one of the few country players that stick to mostly blues scales. but dude, thats a strat!

Sorry I had a mistake because I was not clear, when refering to the telecaster because I was refering to another song that he plays in the same concert using a telecaster.

That particular song is what I say that has a very good leads, and has a different style that I would like to know how is called. Who knows the name of the song I'm refering ?
