  • I snapped my ACL 9 years ago, but still haven't had an operation, cos I'm sill too young (I'm 15 now). in the past couple of months or so, I think I've torn my MCL aswell, hurts like mad sometimes, and the bones seem to touch with every step I take.... I'm constantly seeing doctors, but each one seems to says different things, and in very complicated language that I can barely understand :(

  • Maybe he is presenting the myths in a more subtle way. Instead of 'bashing' you with it. He is simply letting you 'bust' your own myth based on the information he presents. Just my thoughts.

  • This guy isn't even a real doctor, he's vet

  • what about the fibula?

  • worst title ever.

  • help please! I fell off my bike and landed on my knee, doc says its ok but i tried jogging now 3 weeks later and feel pain in the joint and my shin bone pops too. do you think ill be able to run normally again?

  • sooooo ... whats the MYTH ????

  • i was playing basketball and my knee hit another persons knee at almost full speed and it seemed it was fine so i kept playing but it started to pop like it was going in and out of place so i walked home and now after 2 days its still swollen and the muscles are enflamed i cant bend it fully but im in no pain but i cant walk on it without haveing a limp what should i do?

  • The title reads, "Health Myths: Knee Injuries" Maybe I missed something, but what were the myths being discussed? - I didnt hear any.

  • I was on a motor-scooter and a car ran the redlight and direct hit to my knee I think my mcl is messed but 6 years ago I did mri they said acl I think, now I got no insurance and the doctors said " its fine nothings torn etc but I cant squat on one leg and I can't do the main quad exercises at the gym and it feels unstably and it still looks bent in! 6 years later! what should I do

  • @TQT500 he was talking abt ligaments n not the cartilage

  • i think i pulled my MCL in a basketball game when someone stepped on the outside of my leg and my knee went inwards. it got better in about 5 minutes and could use it pretty well. the thing is it hurts like hell when i keep it still for a long period of time... how should i treat it?

  • @BigmanKennedy see a doctor right away

  • is he eyeing me with that right eye...lol

  • im Capoeira fighter and i've been training for a long time.. 2 years ago i injured my knee and till today it hurts sometimes. The problem is sometimes even if it doesn't hurt ,, when i just walk it sounds like that : KHIRCH- KHIRCH- KHIRCH... like my bones are broken in there.. I have no idea what to do....

  • mri

  • hey anyone know what to do wit an MCL injury

fighitng in MMA on 22nd november and urgently need advice tips on excersiuses for my knee

  • i think have a stretched knee tendon can u help me try to get rid of it or any tips?

  • Nice information, but i am wondering when do they remove the screws which are used to firm fit the new ACL ???

  • a torn ligament never heals the screws stay in forever except in aa few cases buut they stay in for extra support

  • thanx alot for clearfy....but dont u think that human body would treat the screws as a strange body(infection) and the WB cells will fight them??

  • Thanks

  • im been in the gym about 4 moths now and i have never traind my legs with weights , because im afraid of injuring my knees. So i decided to start working out my legs to , so i did leg extensions, leg curls and calf raises, i traing with low 50-55 lbs weight because it was my first time and did about 2 x 10 . Next day my hole legs were sore and my knees were aching. my legs arent sore anymore but my knees still ache now and then.
