I've been a Guinness drinker for decades but just now checking out the craft beers. The Rogue is a bit bitter but I'm OK with that. I think when people freak on this it's because they're thinking of chocolate candy. This tastes like unsweetened baking chocolate. I made this mistake when I was a kid, I ate a piece of baking chocolate my mother had in the cupboard. I was"bitterly" disappointed.

Yeah, I guess I am just not a stout lover... Definitely want to try the Rogue double chocolate stout.

I have tried them both recently. But, I bought the Young in the bottle as it is supposed to be better. I found the Rogue to be much more bitter. So I liked the Youngs better
