The air is about 20 degrees warmer than the snow, It depends on what you are use to temp wise. We go thru 40 below zero temps every winter. I say 40 below because that is the same in F and celcius., even though it gets colder than that. In April we get strong sun again and its warm.Y ou can tan with snow on the ground. It doesnt have to be 80 to tan.Your comment was that you dont tan in in the snow. I was saying yes you can.
Ah, see you're missing my point. I get the reflection thing...but we wouldn't tan because we couldn't leave our clothes off long enough to get one!
At the beach here they have a fund raising event in the winter called the Polar Plunge. Folks zip off their clothes, run in the waves, and then run out and back into their clothes...lasts about 10 seconds tops. HAHA
More power to all you Arctic Men and Women out there! :)
Its a free world, you make one for it. hahaha

The sun reflects off of snow thats why it feels so warm, the snow is like a mirror to the suns rays

Alright, I'll buy that, but what is warm to you, temp wise? I bet I'd still shiver.
