I remember taking a chance on this album before it really hit, and I was glad I did! It's some really good stuff, I don't know why it didn't really "take off" but I'm glad cause she gets to stay true to herself and not be the pawn of some record lable.

I Iove this album...although, now that I have to watch clifford, some of her songs can get irritating in my ear because all I think of is her character on the show - cleo the purple poodle. Still a good singer. This album is really good because of her help from Lenny Kravitz!

Let's see... she was Kitana in the animated Mortal Kombat on the USA Network, she played Max Gibson on Batman Beyond, she was Miranda in As Told By Ginger, not to mention the first Penny from Inspector Gadget. Just thought you might want to know. :)

honestly one of the best cd's I have in my collection. She has a great voice and her writing is wonderful. It is refreshing to hear a female singing about something aside from how to get a man or what shade of lipstick she should buy or that she is fat. I Worry about the music industry, in fact two words that should not be together are music and industry. I wish record labels would let more albums like this go into production.
