While Palin IS hot, she is smarter than most people give her credit. She has been governor for 2 years and mayor prior to that, while Obama hasn't held either position. She also had a high approval rating and ran the Alaska National Guard. As for foreign policy, I can't see her having a problem with blowing the heads of jihadist terrorists, while Obama kisses their feet.

Palin has her faults, though (quit gov. position and has an annoying voice) she still has MUCH MORE backbone than Obama...

The republicans want democrats to attack Palin on her experience. She is only in the vp slot and comparatively has more experience in public office than Obama. She also was a governor and not just a senator. This is part of why they chose her to catch the democrats saying 2 or 3 years in office isn't enough experience to be president.
