Wolfenstein (original) was the first ever shooting game, which came before even Doom, Doom2, Quake, etc, which were in about 1990?

This game's all about exiting the castle of wolfenstein and win world war 2, although they don't go into much detail about that.

Isn't the whole point of Wolfenstein games to be in the castle Wolfenstein with claustrophopic corridoors that are seemingly unescapable? This just seems like too much of a generic WWII shooter. Granted I'm not saying this is a bad game, but why call it wolfenstein if the only thing that's similar is the characters name. The gameplay looks too much like a World at War knock off.

@NIN992 There are plenty of stuffy corridors in the game but it is varitety which was a good thing last I checked. As for the WaW ripoff... WaW doesnt have stashes of gold hidden behind a picture frame or intel inside a fireplace besides the Nazis are creepier

To run you have to hold the stick AFTER you start moving forward, you get caught on random things, hit detection is suspect, and bosses become normal enemies quickly, but are more of a time wasting nuisance since they take a minute or so to kill.. and this is just when wandering the pre mission streets. I give it a 7/10 since it is fun but has quite a few poor design choices (Many life losing trial and error scenarios)
