  • principal subject -- 0:00 bridge passage -- 1:21 Second Subject -- 2:42 Closing Section -- ? Development -- ? principal subject -- ? bridge passage -- ? Second Subject -- ? Closing Section -- ? Coda -- ? Does anyone know where the what the question marks are?
  • @miatthas This is how I learnt the sections in AS Music.

    1st subject - 0:00, Transition (bridge) - 0:22, 2nd subject - 0:42, Codetta (closing) - 0:12 Then repeat.

    Development - 2:42

    RECAP: 1st subject - 4:00, Transition - 4:32, 2nd subject - 4:52, Codetta - 5:28, Coda - 5:36 to end.

  • Almost sounds like film scoring, doesn't it? I swear the art of film score came from classical music.

  • ahhhhhh amazing

  • I'd say im listening to this because my music appreciation teacher told me to, but that would be lying. this is just amazing and i shamelessly love it!!

  • Ahh amazing!

  • Gustavo dudamel has to record this song, I think He would make it sound better than this one

  • And now a joke: What's brown and lies on a piano bench? Beethoven's last movement. xD

Thumbs up if this made you laugh.

  • @metalhead82891 lol

  • @metalhead82891 Yeugh, not really.

  • Whooooouuuuu this is a beethoven masterpiece... Why the hell are we talking about Lady Gaga

  • i can play it yeahh!! in cello

  • @TheMegaNublet Ignorance.

  • I look like Beethoven!!

  • I get chills everytime I hear from 0:32-0:40 (All of it is great but that just chills me!)

  • 11 people need to stop linking Beethoven's fifth symphony with the cheap Judge Judy knockoff.

  • this is the punk rock of classical music, how about adapting this to guitar hero, this would be harder than, dragonforce if you had to play all the variations all at once

  • @TheMegaNublet you mean *to*

  • anyone know what recording this is from?

  • I like this when im sober i like lady gaga when im rally drunk so i would say ... yes bethoven is better much better

  • WHO IS THE CONDUCTOR AND WHAT IS THE ORCHESTRA?

These are kind of important things.... I hate when people leave this information off of the video.

  • If I see another "Top comment" Attempt to moralize everything, i'll cut my own eyes out!!!!!

  • @bassbass99able Then don't look at the comments lol

  • I masturbate to Beethoven.

  • Hard to believe he wrote this when ha was deaf!!!!!

  • @hikary456 Especially because it's wrong. He was not deaf when he wrote this, though he did have some hearing loss. But he was completely deaf when he wrote the ninth symphony which is just as famous as this one.

  • MUSIC IS ART! and MUSIC IS GREAT, no matter the kind of music, MUSIC WILL BE ALWAYS GREAT! stop talking about gaga or other singers.... if you want to listen about other artist, you got the wrong page... it's a shame that such attitudes still exist! JUST OPEN YOUR MIND!! and don't froget MUSIC IS GREAT MUSIC IS LIFE!!!

  • BEETHOVEN ROCKS!!

Or ...maybe I should say, "BEETHOVEN ROCKED"!!

    Timeless and amazing music!

  • i actually like gaga but mentioning her on this page is really kinda stupid

  • @sarahseth4 gaga is a greedy music industry sell out. false idols nowadays > corruption

  • @parkourip too truex2

  • @parkourip I disagree.

but before you completely drag me credibility through the mud, I will allow you the knowledge that I grew up In a very educated household and have been listening to many great composers before I was even born(in the womb, if your ingoramous mind doesn't have the ability to process that) and I can say, that Mrs Steffani Joann Angeline Gormanatta is a very intelligent and educated woman, and her music, (if you actually own her ablums, all 6 of them) is composed...

  • @parkourip extremely well, and she is a being that is has more intellect and capacity to be such. And in case you weren't aware of this, Herr Beethoven was considered mentally(and morally) impaired due to that face that the scores he composed were to volatile in nature(contrary to what music was like at the time) and he was considered by many to be insane. So before you decide to exploit your insecurites and the fact that you'll be forgotten when you die, respect others. And remember

  • @sarahseth4 She is only a product of Beethoven.

  • who is fucking Gaga?

  • Older generations were taught to search for and appreciate excellence wherever they find it, not in image, but in substance; the kind that comes from great skill developed over a long period of time. This is why Beethoven is remembered 200 years later. Young people, go for those things that will endure.

  • @AndersonDE7 I'm quoting this, if you don't mind. :)

  • ชอบค่ะ ฟังแล้วรู้สึกสบาย ผ่อนคลาย

  • I think im the only one on the planet that has the classics like Beethoven, Mozart, Bach, Stravinski, Wagner, and Rachmaninov on my ipod, yet i have Nicki Minaj, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Queen, Elton John, David Bowie, The Stones, The Doors, The Who, Metallica, Pantera, August Burns Red, Skrillex, Datsik, Excission, and Afro Jack.

is there anybody else that has the same sort of musical interests as me or am i just messed up in the head?

  • @bott14 nah, dw, some ppl like to doversify their tastes ;)

and trust me, most of my compilations are much more weird ;)

  • @bott14 Nope. There's nothing odd about that at all. Good music is good music. Whether it's rock, pop, bluegrass, classical, jazz or whatever. Hats off to you for not being a musical snob lol

  • What can you say about a pure genius. Beethoven I solute you :))

  • Who heard this on Judge Judy the first time?

  • @liszt141 I did, I watch it when I'm bored and she's the best Judge on TV in my opinion. But this version is better than the version on that show.

  • When you post about Lady Gaga under Beethoven's symphony, you profane,

violate, desecrate, defile, pollute , outrage and destroy the beauty of music! PLEASE STOP IT!

  • @PawelecPOLAND quit whinning like a little bitch. if you dont like it dont read it douche bag

  • @PawelecPOLAND

The beaty of music lies in respecting every genre and time, from Baroque to Lady Gaga (who is also very baroque...)

  • @Fiolsthu95 I'll spoil haters the joy of calling me an idiot because "I don't know Beethoven isn't baroque" (now that i re-read my comment i see it's an easy target). I know his music is between classical and romatic styles.

  • The first real artist in rock n roll was Mozart. The first in heavy metal was Beethoven. ^_^

  • splendide <3

  • I can memorize the text of this song XD

  • Comment removed

  • Gaga, Bieber, Swift, KeSha, may have some catchy lyrics, but when was the last time their music was shown to improve brain function before it (the brain) was even fully formed?

  • My God, even on Beethoven pieces you get people commenting on Lady Gaga. Why bother? i don't think Beethoven's popularity or greatness is going to be bothered much by any pop sensation of the moment.

  • Powerful!! God's love for mankind is expressed beaitifully by Ludwig Von Beethoven...he overcame so much...speech probs as youth...auditory probs @ the height of his career & he brilliantly persevered as an inmortal icon of classical music!! Love it!!

  • All you narcissistic fucks should be ashamed of yourselves. Who are you to say what's better than something else? Beethoven pioneered the idea that composers should write what they want, not what some rich bastard paid them to. All your beloved composers sold out just as bad as people do today. The only requirement for good music is that you enjoy it. I like baroque, classical, and fucking pop punk. Get over it. Why don't you open your mind a little bit? That's what Beethoven would have wanted.

  • oh, poop knickers Sally!

  • very enlightening

  • I love the way everyone shows off in their comments on videos of Classical compsers using fancy Music terms!

  • Why does it have to be one or the other? Beethoven or Lady Gaga, Why cant it be both? I like both football and cricket, they're both sports, but couldent be more dissimiliar.......same with music, it depends on your mood, Led Zep or Mozart ? They're both brilliant.

  • @thedeadbeatdsg mozart totally

  • @thedeadbeatdsg if led zep is brilliant.. Mozart is jesus

  • @thedeadbeatdsg Thank goodness for people like you.

  • @thedeadbeatdsg - well spoken good sir, rock on, or jazz on, or get classical etc.....

  • @thedeadbeatdsg Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @thedeadbeatdsg ye but come on, beethoven was a master of music and a genius in every sense of the word. lady gaga will fade away but beethoven will not

  • @theSodMonster I could'nt agree more, Lady Gaga is obviously no genuis, but the point I am making is that musical genius exists outside of classical music..............many people in theworld of classical music fail to realize that, hence many of the short-sighted comments on youtube.........it's like a musical straightjacket.....but, if the straightjacket fits !!!!

  • @thedeadbeatdsg Freddie Mercury comes to mind...

  • @thedeadbeatdsg

comparing Beethoven with a random whore... this says more about you then about both of them...

  • @Lordofdeath127 For the record, I cant stand Lady Gaga............but Beethoven did it for money too. Your comment says a lot about you too mate.......

  • @thedeadbeatdsg It would be impossible for someone who can truly enjoy and fully experience Beethoven's music to think at the same time that Lady Gaga is a "genius" that would be like saying you can both appreciate the flavour of human faeces and the most exquisite and elaborated cuisine and that they are both equal and comparable.

  • @derpestarzt I am assuming lady Gaga is the feces, and beethoven is the elaborate cuisine...

  • @acethegreat101 Obviously, I was simply using "faeces" as a synonym of Lady Gaga, the metaphor part started when I compared Beethoven's music to high quality cuisine.

  • @derpestarzt aha good :) "flavour" Canadian? I am :) getting back on topic, I love metal and hard rock music (and Jazz), but I appreciate the music of the Classical and Romantic era to no end :)

  • @thedeadbeatdsg But football (american football) is obviously less awesome than futbol, or tennis..

  • @thedeadbeatdsg Absolutely agree - I don't actually like Lady Gaga much but I love Dire Straits, Foreigner, Steve Winwood, Jackson Brown etc ( most from my own generation admittedly) as well as being passionate about Berlioz, Sibelius, Rachmaninov etc. etc. It' absurd to say you can only like one kind of music.

  • @TheVaughan5 Ah, well, I find it absurd to like only one kind of thought pattern, but religious folks find it perfectly fine..

  • @asdfuogh Too true!

  • poop.

  • The start made me want to kill someone and it made me feel like I'm very powerful. Scary yet awesome

  • In all kind of music, 5Th symphony first movement is the summun of everything that has been, is and to be recorded in the future

  • truly the greatest of all genius's his hardship is aking to Van Goghs all though different mediums the most inspirational of all the greatest Romantic composers.

  • Gotta love the flute solo at 4:17

  • @xof49 Is that not a Clarinet or Oboe even???? I don't think its a flute tho??

  • need to be class as an epic score

  • My god the last three minutes are so damn epic.... the recap is just amazing.

  • If you got bugs, if you got ants, if you got bugs and flies and slauhts and things that crawl¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • much better than lady gaga, dont you guys think so?

  • @GeorgeFaTsakos Stop talking about Lady Ga Ga. No one cares about your opinion, just listen to Beethoven and stop trying to be superior about it.

  • @SpeedoJoe i am not going to ask u about ur opinion. i think beethoven is better than lady gaga. i am going to comment however i want.

  • @GeorgeFaTsakos shut the fuck up about lady gaga! For the love of fucking god!

  • @soulsetsmysoulonfire you shut up and go to listen to lady gaga if you like it sooo much.Let me alone, idiot!

  • @GeorgeFaTsakos Yeah, yeah we all know today's music sucks. Especially lady trash gaga. Why does everybody want to talk about her and Justin Beaverhole all the goddamn time? That's why I say STFU please!

  • @soulsetsmysoulonfire C'mon, i didnt know that u dont even want to know about her...o_o

  • @GeorgeFaTsakos Alright, sorry man. Didn't mean to be a butt. Tired of the Gaga and Bieber references though. Maybe if we all stop mentioning them they'll just go away. Beethoven is amazing! We all can agree on that!

  • @soulsetsmysoulonfire ok, i agree on that =)

  • @GeorgeFaTsakos you wanna say much better than lady kaka dont you ?

  • @TheSlimBullet lol, yep!

  • @GeorgeFaTsakos It's a lot better because Beethoven doesn't wear random dresses. At least I think so...

  • @GeorgeFaTsakos

jajajajaj!!! sí. mucho mejor !! ;)

  • Anyone who loves Beethoven enough to recall this Symphony beyond the first 8 notes of the 1st Movement is a true musical connoisseur.

  • No talent anywhere rivals the great classical composers. Everything today is crap...and brings out the WORST in people. Not this music...it makes you concentrate better & makes you believe ANYTHING is possible:-)

  • i cant find the song im looking for i know it was on robot chicken and DAH path of the furon but i cant find it!

  • "Did God write this? o.o" "No, Beethoven did." "What's the difference?"

A little % of all the people can that

    and i'm one of those

We can hear the music in our heads

So we don't need our ears to write music...

  • i usually listen to pop and rock music but now i just love this <3 x

  • This is death knocking at his door

  • i love this Symphony so much, R.I.P Beethoven!!!

  • oh wow wow.it's beautiful!

  • 8 people missed the liek button

  • So amazing I wanna cry... Genius!

  • I'm crying!!!!!!!!!!

  • I slooshied....

  • I heard He was a crimanal. Just an aweful man who raped, murdered and did very aweful things inmcluding sleep with his brothers wife. in fact this is a funny story this song is about the reaper coming tot ake him to hell and him barring all the doors trying to esape, thats what the pounding is the reapers staff pounding on the door.

  • @XwashburnbassplayerX Who cares if he was a criminal. He composed fantastic music, that's what counts.

  • @gmod92 Like Charles Manson... :D

  • @XwashburnbassplayerX

and who did you hear that from. was it from the same source that says that your dad face fucks you every night?

  • @XwashburnbassplayerX well sourced mate you stupid bender

  • I heard He was a crimanal. Just an aweful m,an who raped, murdered and did very aweful things inmcluding sleep with his brothers wife. in fact this is a funny story this song is about the reaper coming tot ake him to hell and him barring all the doors trying to esape, thats what the pounding is the reapers staff pounding on the door.

  • @XwashburnbassplayerX No matter what the music is still magnificent. all you´re doing is trying to downplay his achivements by saying stupid stuff noone cares about (and you can´t even be sure of because he died almost 200years ago). Anyways, the way I see it Beethoven was one of the most selfless persons the world has seen, I mean he wrote the 9th (one of the greatest musical pieces ever) completely deaf when could have just retired depressed. And please don´t bother answering to me.I dont care

  • this is simply beautiful

  • I find it very amazing, How he wrote A very happy and enjoying song such as "Ode To Joy" and yet he wasn't able to hear the Joy of his own Symphony.....Kind-of Ironic

  • Amazing piece.

  • 1974chocywhocy i'm sorry but you are sadly mistaken

I am a rock fan myself and somewhat of a metal head

yet i can still appreciate the musical genuis that is ludwig van beethoven

and leaving a comment like that really shows ur lack of musical variety

just cause you can't fall in love with a guns n roses track doesn't mean other people can't

  • me to i love powerful pieces like this awell there just so fuck awWw lolz

musie like this well set the sole free. :)

  • I love powerful pieces like this.

  • haha BlastBurnEX THAT WAS VERY FUNNY

beethoven musie is the best in the world but people like that remixing musie and rock and roll they dont know what musie is and they NEVER WILL.

  • @demonkingj that is exactly right because John Williams, the soundtrack producer for starwars, derived his musical influence from classical composers such as Beethoven. If you really wanna hear the explicit thematic resemblance between the 5th symphony and the Star Wars main them, listen to the 4th movement ;)

  • Lol this is same music when battling Mr.Passion and Lord Passion in Mother 3

  • I am 19, a rocker and still love Beethoven. He was great, and is my hero. Wasn't a nice guy, but he was talented and wrote with a lot of feeling.

  • @zjfox43 Beethoven was a nice man. He used his time to explore universal tones, and he produced the most beautiful and most powerful music. What a great treasure to the world!

  • @toni4branti Actually it is widely accepted that Beethoven was hot-headed and irritable, probably due to his health (stomach problems and gradually deteriorating hearing, which must have been beyond frustrating for a musical genius). That doesn't lessen his genius or the beauty of his music at all though.

  • I don't know if its me but 3:50 - 4:06 sounds a bit Star Wars like. Overall Piece is very good.

  • @demonkingj yeah your right it does sound like star wars :L

  • @demonkingj Yeah, but it must be said in the chronological order, the other way round: Star Wars sound a bit like this at some point....

  • how wonderous blind people can be :D

  • He couldn't hear... he wasn't blind...

  • Beathooooooooooooooven <3

  • Ironic that this symphony was the foreshadow to his hearing loss, and that the 9th was the symphony that was during the actual complete deafness. Most would think he would write something more depressing for the 9th, but being Beethoven he just wrote what he wanted to. I love you Beethoven!!

  • @cbinasoy he actually was completely deaf by his sixth. All because he went to the doctors and what they tried to do what to "cure" his deafness in a sense so they would pour hot wax in his ears and take hot pokers and shove them into his ears hoping to get the "wad of wax" that was causing his hearing loss. Needless to say, when they put the poker in, they actually broke his ear drum causing pretty much full hearing loss. But, his deafness didn't go public till I think his performance of the 6

  • 5 people don't appreciate true genius.

  • When I conquer the world, THIS will be playing on every loudspeaker.

  • @bewleya u just killed it froma distance looooool on everyones speakers u know loooooooooool u crak me up

    looooool

  • @bewleya good luck with tha (: x

  • @bewleya Yeah the only way your doing that is if you are ginger i'm telling you they are getting there.
