im studying physics and two weeks ago i did see that experiment. They used an electrically heated filament (oldschool lightbulb) to emit black body radiation at different temperatures, used a prism to split it up, and then used a photomultiplier moved by a computer-controlled mechanical device to scan the spectrum for the amount of photons per wavelength. And the resulting graphs after doing it for 4 different temperatures look similar to the ones in the video.

I don't understand why this can't be both science and religion. God is only portrayed in the form of man as to better explain things and to personify his power. Am I understanding this correctly?...A stream of light that is a certain color can have enough energy to free an electron. Blue light can do this, but red light can not. -Is this the principle behind solar energy? Does this also explain why lightning is blueish-white in color rather than red in color? Is there such a thing as electricity that is other colors, such as green?

Quantum mechanics can't be accurate because you have all of these contradictory ideas in it. It calls for quantized space, the "Planck length". This violates all of Physics basically because you can't use calculus in a non-smooth manifold. They're using calculus to say they can't use calculus. They should just call quantum mechanics an approximation that they make for some useful situations and conditions but acknowledge that it isn't true in any sense.

Quanta mechanics produces patterns which have been measured by many different experiments, but it is when we progress to the quantum level, everything brakes down (transmutation and the different types of radioactive decay are good templates for measuring the mechanics of quanta.)

I should have said a false theory can be useful. Parts of quantum mechanics are true in many senses, but the parts that conflict with relativity can't be considered true. Relativity has also been empirically verified.
This is not a very good explanation. because by the definition of a standing wave it has to be quantized, and is defined by the dimensions of the barriers. to use ur example, on a guitar string its pitch is caused by the distance between the nut and the bridge. and the twelfth fret is the octave because it ia half that, anyways light is quantized because it reflects movement of electrons between energy levels not because of dimensions of the room you are in.

I gave up trying to make sense of wave-particle duality and other ideas of quantum mechanics. Even with a good grade in quantum mechanics and further independent studying by looking stuff up online, I came to realize that I don't understand ANYTHING in quantum mechanics!
You are not alone. It's just because QM is against our common every day sense. If this effects would be observable in larger scale it would be a lot of easier. QM as a science exist for almost 100 years, our species for much longer. It's hard to use to this weird effects. But it's here and we can not turn back and just ignore it.

im studying physics and two weeks ago i did see that experiment. They used an electrically heated filament (oldschool lightbulb) to emit black body radiation at different temperatures, used a prism to split it up, and then used a photomultiplier moved by a computer-controlled mechanical device to scan the spectrum for the amount of photons per wavelength. And the resulting graphs after doing it for 4 different temperatures look similar to the ones in the video.

Could the difference between quantum and classical physics be because quantum physics represents the passage of time itself?
This theory is based on just two postulates,
1. The first is that the quantum wave particle function explained by Schrödinger’s wave equation represents the forward passage of time or Arrow of Time photon by photon.
2. The second is that Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle that is formed by the wave function is the same uncertainty we have with any future event.

I don't understand why this can't be both science and religion. God is only portrayed in the form of man as to better explain things and to personify his power. Am I understanding this correctly?...A stream of light that is a certain color can have enough energy to free an electron. Blue light can do this, but red light can not. -Is this the principle behind solar energy? Does this also explain why lightning is blueish-white in color rather than red in color? Is there such a thing as electricity that is other colors, such as green?

Quantum mechanics can't be accurate because you have all of these contradictory ideas in it. It calls for quantized space, the "Planck length". This violates all of Physics basically because you can't use calculus in a non-smooth manifold. They're using calculus to say they can't use calculus. They should just call quantum mechanics an approximation that they make for some useful situations and conditions but acknowledge that it isn't true in any sense.

@TheFlanker35: It’s called quantized energy, and while this quantized energy can be accurately measured, hence, the quanta mechanics can be measured; with quantum energy, the mechanics can not be accurately measured. Quanta mechanics produces patterns which have been measured by many different experiments, but it is when we progress to the quantum level, everything brakes down (transmutation and the different types of radioactive decay are good templates for measuring the mechanics of quanta.)

I should have said a false theory can be useful. Parts of quantum mechanics are true in many senses, but the parts that conflict with relativity can't be considered true. Relativity has also been empirically verified.

This is not a very good explanation. because by the definition of a standing wave it has to be quantized, and is defined by the dimensions of the barriers. to use ur example, on a guitar string its pitch is caused by the distance between the nut and the bridge. and the twelfth fret is the octave because it ia half that, anyways light is quantized because it reflects movement of electrons between energy levels not because of dimensions of the room you are in.

Doesn't quantum tunneling (the means through which we are able to smell) confirm the brains interaction with quantum mechanics? If so then maybe electrochemicals interact with consciousnes on the same or similar level.

Electron flow within an empty space (i.e. a Vacuum is known as a cathode ray. Light on the other hand is a form of energy. Therefore it acts as waves and travel in the form of waves at an incredible speed of 3 X 109m/s. At your question-light has no distinct relationship to a flow of elactrons.

The reason all planets look different and are of different sizes are how much has died on their planet or how much they have gathered from other planets.They look the way they do because of how they died. I gave up trying to make sense of wave-particle duality and other ideas of quantum mechanics. Even with a good grade in quantum mechanics and further independent studying by looking stuff up online, I came to realize that I don't understand ANYTHING in quantum mechanics!
