Changestation I listened to the Stephan Fry video on swearing. It has to do with the first sentence that I wrote 14 year olds and that being the starting and most important part of the context. Swearing among adults is one thing in the context of mentoring 14 year olds is quite a different context.

Stephan Fry was making tounge in check analysis of swearing in general and never made the context connection of mentoring 14 year olds.

I really like what you are saying in this video to a 14 year old but there is another video where you are using the F word. You seem bright enough to not need to resort to vulgarity to make a point. I like THIS video very much. These are great --- ones with vulgarity come across as low class.... Just my opinion.

You might want to search "Stephan Fry on Swearing" to hear the opinion of one of the most literate individuals on the planet regarding using "swear" words.

I've found it is easier to motivate others than to motivate myself LOL (and Momo, you hit the nail right on the head on this) the key is to figure out what you want, and that is hard for me.

thanks for this video Momo. I think I am already a motivator! My friends and family always look to me for advice and support. So I just support people and encourage them to follow their dreams, to take action. So, for Bob - these are the kinds of things that motivate people. It's a good place to start :)
