He was contracted to Inter Milan a few years ago but got home sick and went back to Finland before he signed for Liverpool. He was born in Finland and doesn't speak Italian. I certainly hope that we, Ajax, won't pay 4,5 mil. euro, as the rumors say. He hasn't proven himself on the highest level so that would be a lot of money. But if clubs like chelsea are trying to sign him, he must have got some potential, although Liverpool doesn't want to keep him by all means. We'll see. Ajax has a lot of talented players playing in the youth teams. So it is not of the highest necessity that we sign him. Would be nice though.
