I saw this cast yesterday (26.11.09) for my birthday. They were AMAZING!!!! Phil was really funny and enjoyable to watch. Belinda was brilliant and Verity Rushworth was super as Penny Pingleton.

Fab, Phill & Tony as mama and pappa turnblad look fab, loads of chemistry there..summat quite ballesque about phill's edna too.

Sharon's got groove, quite like johnnie's style..very mary bond davis too, think she'll grow in the role greatly

the von tussles seem to have gonedown the broadway "songbird tweety" style, soft n bubbly whereas all previous von-tussle princpial casts/understudies have had LOADS of punch n strength to their voice..but maybe live its totally different!

Phil looks and sounds good as Edna, Sharon is good too but not as good in my openion as Sandra and Johnnie. the von tusses are good too but i would like them to have alittle more energy during their part in the song and dance department. though Belinda looks soo amazing as Velma! i am sure that once they get into the show they will get better with time and will be GREAT!
