  • good job seeing the dc prevail after ever other co. has gotten more credit makes me feel good, love all of it......smallville,swampthing,flash etc. best co. out there

  • The intros got better when the 90s started lol. Less talking :P

  • The Flash looks pretty darn cool actually. Definitely going to look that one up! :D Rockon DC

  • I was watching the video and when Batman: the animated serie and The adventures of Batman and Robin came that part gave me goosebumps. That was the first DC animated serie I watched in my life!! And the song of the intro is epic!!

They should put those shows on again 'that' was real tv for kids!

  • Thank you Bob Kane!

  • Batman: The Animated Series was just epic. My number 1 favorite DCAU show.

  • @MrBizzel Agree! But I think I like better from season two on...

  • So that's where I know the blind guy from"Becker" from. The Flash.

  • You know, looking at these intros has me wondering...what was the last new superhero cartoon we had? Not counting the animated movies that come out on DVD of course. Because I feel like we see more rehashes of Batman cartoons than Superman.

  • how can somwone confuse wildcats(image)with DC? come on! dont ya kniow your comics lol

  • @scdrummer82247 uhh..actually wildcats was sold to DC years ago.

  • the flash series was pretty good! I remember when they switched it to saturday nights as a kid, it was pretty much over! damn, this is bringing back memories. wildcats, back when they used to show cartoons on the weekends. yea, dc bought image, but let's see if you put static shock in any of the later vids to come. thanks for this. BTW, did any company buy out Malibu comics? I believe marvel did, but i'm not sure! Hey, I wonder if spawn made the list then?1/!?

  • I love the Batman and Robin in 1992 at 1995's

  • The bridge in the Superboy intro is in my area. It's the Sunshine Skyway Bridge in Florida!

  • i want to se human target tel me is it good

  • @dcspartan117 not the rick springfield crap, go straight to the keen eddie version. It's already 2 seasons in, but of course you can catch up online!

  • For anyone who wonders where "The Flash's" Central City was filmed ,it was shot in and around an old DWP building in Los Angeles on 66th and San Pedro. I used to ride the bus past the location sometimes and I even saw them actually filming there some days! Loved it!

  • Lastly, why change the race of villains or superheroes? Green Lantern was African-American at one point in modern time, and Lex Luthor is now. Nothing against it because I too am black; but it's just a little misunderstanding, that's all.

  • @HllywHulk91 GL isn't one person but at one point 4. Hal wasn't GL at the time so they called up the reserve GL, John Stewart who was black. Lex has had a tan since STAS I don't get how people see that as Lex is now Black.

  • @Citrakite Oh! I didn't know that. Learn something new everyday. Thanks.

  • @HllywHulk91 GL 101. Hal Jordan was a test pilot who found/was summoned by a dying alien and was given the ring. John Stewart was the runner up from the search so when Hal went crazy he took over as Main GL. (Gl sales had slumped so they replaced Hal with a newer Black version for that edgier 80's feel) Kyle Rayner got his ring after Hal went apeshit and absorbed the central battery on Oa making him the last GL (they got better like Hal did). Guy Gardener was another runner up but not as popular

  • @Citrakite The alien Green Lantern was Abin Sur.

  • @DarthSideous63 Well there's lot of alien GL's. I'm just doing the one's from Earth or I got a lot of people to cover like how Sinestro was also a GL once but secretly ruled his home planet with an iron fist so he was striped of his powers and exiled only to get a yellow ring from the anti-matter universe Qwardians.

  • And the 1992-93 Batman! FTW!

  • Oh what? I didn't know Human Target was under DC. Or any comic for that matter. You learn something new everyday.

  • Swamp thing Starring Mark David Chapman? what the F?

  • Wildcats at that time is under Image Comic. If you count those, then you should add everyone with a comic under DC comics.

  • 0:39: HOLY CRAP! I thought I was the only one who remembered that Superman cartoon! I loved it as a kid, and that opening was friggin' epic for an 80s cartoon.

  • Because of Batman: TAS american animation has changed a lot bc of it.

  • The Swamp Thing cartoon looks like crap!

  • What about Superman animated series?? It's sad how Wonder Woman and Aquaman don't receive love from the producers...

  • alway my favorites batman tas and all the batman series followed

  • wierd I always thought swamp thing was marvel just seems like a marvel style character....but its dc alright

  • Ah, those good old dark batman animated series, they were da best!

  • iN THE nEW HUMAN TARget this guy doesnt wear a mask, but it is pretty boring, he says the same phrases like schwarzenneger

  • I wish that WB created a DCAU Flash The Animated Series-the same one from JL, JLU, STAS

  • Wild cats look more marvel than dc it seems interesting I never watched it in mexico

  • @jimm06126 I agree it looked liked the X-MEN series.

  • Wouldn't it be weird if Wildcats and Swamp thing were DCAU canon?

  • ha ha live action Flash... i remember that one. but i thought flash lives in Keystone City and on the intro it says Central City. (not a hardcore Flash fan so thats why im confused)

and i didnt know there was already an attempt at Human Target... man. getting schooled with these vids lol

  • @DarkKnight2k6 keystone & central city are right by each other

  • @busterandbusteret yea i read a flash comic where it showed the two. Keystone city Kansas and Central City Missouri. thought it was pretty funny. but now isnt Metropolis close as well? which if it is i think Gotham is close as well is it not?

  • Batman the Animated Series and greatest DC cartoon of all time.

  • i never knew about the Swamp Thing cartoon. Thanks

  • Ok wildcats does not count. they are Image. I know DC bought Wildstorm, but technically at the time when this aired, they were still Image.

  • 3:49

    LMFAO gotta love it.

  • WAIT A SECOND!!!!! If your going to include all the diffrent superfriends openings and both the batman tas openings then you need to include the opening to the Adventures of Superboy, since that and Superboy were completly diffrent shows

  • Thank you for educating me that Rick Springtfield played " The Human Target ". I might have hear about this show one time. When they announced about the new series Batman I was EXCITED UNTIL I saw the cubisim. I didn't really like it. Of course, Bob Kane probably like it since he painted incubism towards the end of his life. The art style just grows on I.

  • 5:40 Fuck yes

  • yes thats when know you that this shit just got real

  • I wish the Flash and Superboy had at least one more season. But between the two, Superboy actually got better as it went along and was probably the most moody and noir-ish version of Superman there ever was. too bad seasons two thru four might not ever get an official DVD release.

  • Maybe if the Flash had aired on any othe rnetwork other than CBS it might have. CBS was always leery of Superhero shows that's why they cancelled Spider-Man and Wonder Woman. Superboy ended because Warner brought a lawsuit against the Salkinds' to regain the property. That's why the show never aired in syndication after it's intial run.

  • Superboy had a second run on our local Fox affiliate. After that, the lien must've kicked in.

  • Thank you for confirming that stacy haiduk was in superboy, I was sure but I haven't seen it in 20 years, that's the only nice role I can remember her playing

  • Human Target??? Who is the Human Target?

  • He was a more obscure DC hero. He was a kind of superspy/master of disguise who could assume the identity of just about any one of his clients who were in danger.

  • thnx dude.

  • There is supposed to be a new version of the Human Target premiering later this year produced by the same people who did the 4400.

  • Swamp thing intro cracked me up! LOL

  • Wild C.A.T.S was published by Wildstorm which didn't become an imprint of DC until 1999. Technically when this show aired it wasn't a DC property. I think that clip shouldn't be included but you know my two cents.

  • Yes superman john Williams score so awesome. but batman is the best.

  • Watching these intros made me realize that Batman: TAS is tstill he high water mark as far as DC TV shows go. Live action or animated, it has yet to be surpassed

  • @archer1949 True! Well, I think Superman the Animated Series and Justice League were a smidge better!
