I remember this happening another time when Rod Roddy was hosting. At one point during the confusion, you could hear Rod saying "that's not you" and after enough time had passed, he called another name. The contestant to come on down later in the next segment was the one they were looking for after they cleared it all up. Anyone have that one?

It was so much better before the end of the 90's. Much more relaxing and classic. Today it's too glamorous and the show just ain't what it was.

GSN would almost do a pop up video clip while they would show old game show and had statistics while running the games. For instance a car back in 1976 cost $4856. But lets have Lingo and run it for 18 minutes with 12 minutes of commercials and have very little prizes won nowadays.  Maybe licensing costs to much and they would rather make a cheesy whammy game show like they do now.
