I've heard this standard played many different ways, by many great pickers...but I've never heard it played better than this!!! Great tone...splendid phrasing and timing...nonpareil technique. I listen to this over and over...and never tire of it! Bless your heart, Donna!

Re, Franlin Steel Guitars, If You watch My Videos You will see Me playing a Franklin, Mr Paul Franklin Sr is a FIRST RATE MAN. I meeded with My Compensators on my steel called Mr Franklin,he would NOT charge me to fix something I messed up, it stays in tune like no other .I have Played it for 21, it is 19 years old in My Videos, and still plays like NEW, Donaa Sure graces a Steel Guitar I hope She still Plays with Someone to good to waste, Thanks Donna

This number" I Love You Because" by Donna is one of her best numbers, which I've heard on U-Tube. It's a crying shame that such talent is hidden from the public to hear. Fell in love with Donna the first time I heard her playing back-up for Bill Anderson. I'll bet she has sold many " Franklin's " for Paul and Co. Come back, Donna.. We all love you..

Donna got married and has kids now. She gave up professional picking several years ago. However she does still attend (not play) some of the steel shows. She was at the ISGC in September of this year.
