wil i do agree that things will go better in the future but he did nothing wrong he reported those things when people try to steal they dont usually put it on the irs form. also the concert fee didnt come out of donations the for profit company that gave the foundation the money so that all the proceeds of the concert would benefit the charity directly... what they should have done is have that company pay it directly to cover costs. now he knows better but it wasnt a payment.and he reported it

Hopefully Wyclef learn the lesson. No one is accusing Wyclef of stealing, but YELE didn't quite meet the "standard" of being a credible organization to receive donations. As a result, Wyclef decided to hire a new accounting firm that knows better about filing tax return. Ppl over reacted; we need to save such energy to help Haiti recorver from the disaster.

That is one of the things i hate most about the people that control the american media, they enjoy destroying faces of good people, and then think it's funny. They did the same to many other good celebrities.. e.g "michael jackson", no matter how much good things somebody does, they'll still find ways to make you look bad. My issue is this- no doubt, the money sent to Yele is going straight to the people who need it in Haiti. BUT when you donate to the big corporate charities, it typically goes to their "general fund" and to cover "administrative costs", not necessarily to the people of Haiti.
