  • gracias por existir.

    larga vida a the cult

  • @elshafto111 No, that's Chris Wyse, their bassist of the last five years, Jaimie hasn't been with them since 1990. Also, they look nothing alike :)

  • THE CULT!!

No doubt about that... Simply the very best band since the last 30 years... CULT forever!!

Sin duda alguna, The CULT es la mejor banda de los últimos 30 años!!

  • Wicked, wicked good, awesome cool, oh yeah baby! Astbury's voice is unbelievably raunchy and nasty and Duffy's guitar is beyond superb, even for a simpler tune like this one.

  • Phenomenal. Still one of the greatest IMO. Can't wait for the next tour here in June.

  • A real masterpiece of The Cult !! Thanx to Ian and Billy !

  • Billy's outtro in the final 20 seconds is amazing.

  • magical, what an absolutely brilliant piece of songwriting

  • Brilliant, the best Cult I've ever seen recently.

  • Never thought I'd see Billy playing a Telecaster!

  • @dirtstyles Actually a LOT of the Sonic Temple album was recorded on the same tele Billy is playing in this video.

  • @xKALECx serious? dang, I know he experimented with Strats on that album but not Tele's, cool though as I play one!

  • The Cult, and The Masters, someone knock me out till Sunday when I get to see this much epic awesomeness in one night :D

See you down the front back home in Manc \m/

  • Incredible! So much energy and raw emotive power! Better than the studio version. Check out Capsule 2!

  • Ian sounds pretty good. Style got the style.

  • first band I ever saw in 1987- and still looking forward to seeing them in a couple of weeks at Wolverhampton Civic :)

  • Awesome Band...first saw them in 1983 as deathcult...saw them at Sonisphere 2010...going to see them at rock city in 2 weeks time...Embers is best New track they have done...!!!

  • I will always love this band. I first saw them in 1984 and they still sound WONDERFUL in 2011!

  • What a performance! They are sounding fantastic, and the song...well what can you say. I'm so glad that this is the band I love! Please don't stop making music!

  • What a performance! They are sounding fantastic, and the song...well what can you say. I'm so glad that this is the band I love! Please do stop making music!

  • I've been a fan since back in the day when they had a three name band... (Southern Death Cult)... Astbury and Duffy sound better than ever... Glad to see that Ian forgot that he thought he was Jim Morrison... Not that there's anything wrong with Jim, just Ian has his own trademark voice... Over the years, their music has changed, transcended, modernized, yet stayed the same... Kind of like Zeppelin, the music gets better with time.. Glad to see these guys are still rocking after all these years.

  • Can we get some lyrics

  • @pucknplay42 Lyrics are on the new Capsule inside cover....

  • See you in Luxembourg ...

  • Fantastic song....If you can: Go see them live!

  • Can't get enough of this song. The lesson to be learned here is that great songwiting and raw talent never get old.

  • Wow,absolutely brilliant song,great voice,guitar work,what a band!These guys are getting better with age,really enjoyed that.

  • Hells yeah. Spirit still going strong. Peace to teambricktucky1 and demontaurses. Ian and Billy still put it down hardcore live and continue to fuel souls everywhere.

  • GOD... thats good.

This is why I have been a faithful fan for 26+ years!

Rock on men~ Ian your voice brings me such joy. Thank you~ xox

  • Billy Duffy is a riff master... always writes great rock hooks on the guitar.

AND for whatever reason... it just looks like a guitar belongs in his hands - totally iconic.

    the Cult Keep rockin'

  • Not much to say....this song and The Cult pretty much say it all!! Chris Wyse is a bad ass bassist and Billy just rocks as always. After 20+ years....Ian's voice is still amazing. Probably the best line up Ian and Billy have ever played with. Keep it up boys!! We love it!!

  • The best bands these days are the ones that have been around for 30 years. Saw these guys live this year. Front row, at Billy's feet. Mindblowing.

  • Love you Ian.

  • I will always be a fan. They can do no wrong in my eyes ... The Cult Forever. Forever Cult - CFFC.

  • WOW! A great new tune.

  • Ian can really sing live when he needs to do it...well done!!

  • awesome

  • Tempesta is by far one of the best drummer out today and the best drummer The Cult has ever had. There has been NONE heavier!

  • This rocks!

  • Started listening to them in 1983 when stationed in Europe - still love them, awesome new song!

  • The Music of The Cult has been with me for so many years, all the time, through ups and downs, happiness and despair, and I still get amazed to tears when I hear them...

  • scream louder.... 2 youtube folks can't (really) hear you!!

  • ALIVE more than ever! CFFC!

austria's greatest cult fan screams; HAIL CULT!

  • beautiful, just so nice!

  • Beautiful & amazing song! Long Live The Cult!

  • Fantastic, the original spirit, amazing voice and awesome lead guitar remain alongside a new , original and mature sounding band. Long live The Cult. Miss Jamie- Ian/Billy/Jamie lineup would be the icing for me.

  • Thanks for this Gift!

  • A great band, always was and always will be....CFFC!!

  • The CULT is the best. Ian Astbury and Billy Duffy cornerstone the best band of the past 20 years. Thanks so much for never stopping - and continuing to put out new awesome music. You guys transcend the whole band thing, and raise rock music to a new bar. Thanks, for life.

  • @DemontauruSes NEVER SAID IT THAT WELL MY FRIEND

  • I was at this taping. Tune in folks, its a great set. These guys are fucking awesome!

  • The Cult best time ever , I grew up together with them , this song is amazing , a fan since 1985 !!!!

    Ian Astbury forever

  • Great new stuff from best rockband EVER!!

  • DE NUEVO EN LA BRECHA IMPRESIONANTE

  • still rock n rollin..goo ian n duffy

  • Just saw them in Melbourne FLA it was a ROCKN good time. They still have the sound of CULT ROCK!

  • @greezil428 I saw them last weekend in Atlanta. I agree with your comment 100%. I like the new material too.

  • These guys are awesome, Billy Duffy is my favorite guitar player hands down (love his tone). Ever since the Love album surfaced in the mid 80's this has been my #1 band. CFFC! Billy, let's see some new material using the Gretsch White Falcon!

  • Great!sounds similar to "the cult" album back at 1994 with ballads like "saints are down"....ian at his best!!!!!

  • you're so beautiful..ian

  • Best thing I've heard out of these guys for years, but always one of my all time favourite bands. Haven't got the recorded version because the iTunes clip wasn't that inspiring. Going to have to get it now and can't wait for the apollo in Jan!

  • How good is that! Love Billy's outro guitar work behind Ian there for the last 30 seconds. Beautiful.

  • We want a new album!

  • Great song! Great performance :-)

  • I can't get enough of this song.

  • I watched these guys last night in Detroit. It was unbelievable how awesome they are. This video must be old because the lead singer had a huge full beard. I see GC deleted my previous post because this song doesn't do them justice. Its much better in person.

  • Wow Guitar Center, this was incredible. You guys did a great job with the video and audio.

  • 3 peaple didnt like this song

  • Can somebody PLEASE tell me what model/brand of shades he is wearing? Thanx in advance!

  • @NachoBelgrande ray bans great shades

  • one person sniffed tooo much coke

  • Sounds absolutely fabulous, beautiful lyrics... and even better live. Fan since forever... CFFC

  • Hell, yeah, they rocked the Tabernacle in Atlanta November 12th like no other!!!!!

  • Kiss my ass all you Cult haters, these guys still Rock and that more then I can say for most bands these days. These guy are true to them selfs and still haven't sold out, like linkin park did with their last album. The Cult rule and i will always be apart of their wolfpack.

  • Just saw The Cult in Raleigh & they sounded awesome, just as they do on this video. I really don't get the comments that they should stick to their old stuff because they do. The fact that they keep the new coming is what makes them stand the test of time. I think they sound as contemporary today as any current band, old&new stuff included. Ian & BillyD just keep putting it out and I for one would like to see them get the props that they have so long deserved! ThisNC'80schic says rock on dudes!

  • is he drummin' on a gretsch?

  • Yamaha

  • @TeAmGrEnByTeZ

I doubt it. John Tempesta is an Tama endorsee. When he was with Robzombie, might've made the switch to Ddrums.

  • @TeAmGrEnByTeZ

Think it maybe a Ludwig kit by looking at the lugs and badge - a Classic or Superclassic in black oyster pearl. Ludwig do a ' fab four' kit based on Ringos set up he had with The Beatles and this looks like it, so that would be my guess.

  • @wfm75

It is a Ludwig Ringo kit.

  • Fantastic. Not as good as other versions I've heard but still great, and Ian shaved?! If he untied his hair he'd look just like he used to. I don't have DIRECTV, is there any other way I can see this?

  • Awesome stage design! ;-)

  • This is great!

  • sick song

  • drummer shoulda just used sticks

  • @RemoKinga

It is a smaller room so the h-rods aren't a bad idea. If he used sticks it would probably be too loud and then they'd have to use those plexiglass barriers which would make it seem not quite as intimate. The Cult still sound good. Gotta love 'em.

  • Wow, Duffy without the big White Gretsch...

  • Ive sorta lost my interest in the cult in the past couple of years.

  • @headwhop26 Well nows the time to get back into them!

  • first lolololol
