I've seen the Aurora Borealis twice. Once from the ground where it glowed bright red, and once from the sky where it was a spectacular golden/green. The real event is breathtaking, and these pictures are spectacular. And with this score, it is gorgeous. Thank your for making and posting this.

@mike321778 As far as I know you can see them better in the winter time because of the Earth position to the Sun. In the summer for some time there is no night time there. It is always day time and it is harder to see the lights in the daytime. They are always there as they have nothing to do with daytime or night time. It is Earth's magnetic field bending Sun flairs...

Thank you! It is one of dreams to see The Northern Lights with my own eyes. While I have been to about 40 States in person I didn't have the opportunity to go Alaska yet. My favorite States so far are Utah, Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico. However I know Alaska will take my breath away!
