Hey, do floods like that happen in Milwaukee? I just read that Milwaukee is one of the top 2 safest places in the U.S. from natural disasters. How is Milwaukee? I was considering buying a place there (Never been.) was just researching on the internet. A man, if you can write me back, I'd really appreciate it. I'm 24. thanks!
@shaneslifestory Don't let this video scare you away from Milwaukee - it was a VERY unusual flood - one that will probably never happen again. The closest we usually get to a natural disaster here is just a couple feet of snow; but as we've seen in the past month, that can happen just about everywhere.
omg my reading teacher told me about this i live in arizona and me and my teacher r from wiwsconsin and i cant believe i dident hear about this it looks bad :(
Thanks for posting this, guys. I live in Wauwatosa, but I was in NYC from 7/22-7/25. Awesome video! I'm glad you didn't get hurt, sick, or electrocuted..
The tax shop just north of the guitar shop already was out of business one week prior as we already were flooded, but Otto's, the store with the flashing marquis is a liquor store and is still open. My apartment building , on the west side of the street vacated all tenants on the first floor with the choice to get their deposit back, or relocate to another property. The entire first floor is a total loss with almost 4 feet of water and a completely flooded basement.
I drive down there today - the curbs are piled full of sofas, dressers, etc.. I can't imagine any of the businesses or apartments/homes had flooding insurance; you'd never expect to have much more than a little water in your basement around there - much less a 6' river flowing down your street. Local reports said there were over 5 1/2 inches of rain in under 2 hours. It's nuts!
Wow, and to think I was in Milwaukee just a week ago! I took the 15 bus down Oakland. Man...I'm glad I moved out of Shorewood last year. This is freaky ass shit!
i remember this, i live in muskego and all of the trees got knocked down and the ground was covered in branches, eagle actually got a tornado

There must be a huge loss of people's cars and damage to business and homes / apartments. This would be very hard to deal with. Good luck.
