I Like both Lara and Regine but i now know in this video that Lara is like Celine too, both nasal! Lara will never hit Regine's highest note because she is throaty, her voice is bigger and husky... Regine is a belter, belongs to such Celine, Whitney and Mariah. Lara has a share in American music scene but failed because she isn't pop. They both are amazing. But there is a difference in voices. Stop writing that Lara can't hit those high notes. She can reach highet than Regine. Here Lara uses her chest (is it right spelling), and Regine uses belting. So there's a difference in sounding. I think Lara thinks this is the way the song looks better, Regine thinks it's better to sing it higher and flyful

It isn't Lara's best perfomance. But Lara has more powerful and strong voice. She sang this song by am amazing emotional way. Regina did it not bad but not good too. She is an amazing singer but this song is not for her voice, her type of voice. She has voice to sing other songs...like my heart will go on. Lara did it more emotional. This song isn't demonstration of vocal range. Here any singer have to use his emotion, express feelings.

My gosh, Lara almost choked, and her voice switched to falsetto towards the end. Her vocal powers were fading as she sustained the last note that she had to switch to her falsetto voice. While Regine on the other hand sustained the notes and sustained her vocal power as well. Regine's voice seems secure and she has the confidence to hold those amazingly high notes. Nice try Lara, but you were just outsung by the Asia's Songbird. Go Regine. You're simply amazing.

This is the analogy guys: Inside the classroom, when a math teacher gives a simple problem a lot of the student could definitely solve it, same way in singing if the note is not that high even nonsingers could pull off to sing..it will come out good.. Have you seen those bonus video where she was talking with her support (people who helped to organize and record that DVD) and she always complained about her breath control. She told she had been hard to find the balance because of beign sick. Anyway, anybody can see her coughing while rehearsing.We should accept their talant! i agree. lara cant win regine. regine sings with emotions, too. "papa watch me FLY" her voice soared as what the lyrics said. lara's version was, well, not good, especially that part. her voice sort of descended in anyway. regine sustained it with a vibratto. regine sings with emotions, power, dynamics, and she is not screaming, because if she is only screaming she wouldnt be able to finish a song. Regine is way better.
