I'm not rich. I'll NEVER be able to afford an Apollo....ever. I can however afford a Z06 and the supporting modifications to make it rape face on the street or track.

Also, the radical is hardly a car. It's more like a go kart with an insane engine. No wipers, no roof, no cargo space...etc.

What I've heard there should be hardly no whining if everything is setup right. But in this case the exhaust system surely swallowed a lot of sound from the engine! One of the most funny cars I've ever driven. The gearbox, the speed, the tight feeling in all the bits! A car to LOVE!

@sleazyv8 He's probably only running 5-6 psi boost with the supercharger. That's not spinning up as fast as those 2000+ Hp cars you referenced. Those cars run 30+ pounds of boost, and spin up a LOT faster, and therefore create a lot more drag on the supercharger pulley. That's what creates the whine; the belt + pulley drag. Yes there will be some supercharger whine, but it won't be that much running 5-6 psi.

@Uberragen21 precisely! the 4.2l has fairly high compression stock (12.5:1 iirc), and would not like more than 6- 8 pounds of boost put into it (according to EVOMS who were working on a TT version).

The other supercharged versions Ive seen getting around are at 5 psi sounds like a safe working number.
