Yeah, so you did exactly the same as me, pretty much to a T. Riiiiight up until you threw that body off the ledge. (Genius. Pure genius.) For me, after that, all hell broke loose. In the third room, I nuked the lot of them. Cherry Bombed them all into a tiny group, and fragged 'em all with one Impact/Shrapnel/British bomb. Clear room ftw. xD

just so you know you dont have to assassinate the guards holding the key. long as you kill them the next door will open including the last guard. posion arrows is the easy way to do it.

You know that you don't actually have to get close to the Captains to kill them to aquire the keys, you can distance kill them with poison darts or any other silent weapon. One they are dispatched you will get the notice "Cistern Key aquired" and so forth.

As far as i know, there is next to no latin in any of the games, apart from a few priest's chants and the 'Requiescat in Pace'. Most of it is modern Italian, or in the case of this game Greek and Turkish.

I do wonder if Ubisoft is overlooking the fact that the Byzantines never called themselves Byzantines during their time. It wasn't till the 19th century when historians started to call them as such. As strictly speaking they were still the (Eastern) Roman Empire, while foreigners like Ezio back then would've called them "Empire of the Greeks".

But I guess it would be awkward for Ezio to be constantly calling them "Greek Templars", so perhaps it might be intentional "Animus translation".

You dk by actually have to retrieve the key FROM the body itself. A lot easier way to complete the thir room is to use an explosive bomb from your perch at the start. Bam you some have have the key :)
