I raced a Scarab 377 in the late 80's and he got up to around 61mph, I barely walked away from him inch by inch, and topped out about 62-63mph. We left the dock at the same time, I didn't see his motors, but heard them start, and sounded like two big blocks with lumpy cams. My boat was a 21' Sleekcraft Jr. Executive with 200 hp Mercury outboard. I didn't expect to beat him, but that's what happened, and I saw him floor the throttle lever wide open.

Is that a typical speed for one of these?

Anyway. To bring some some simplicity to this clip. We restored the whole boat with a new stern, stringers, electrical system and drives with the engine in just one winther. And every finance its made by hard work not from the bank. So fuck everyone who can´t put out there own projekts at youtube, to just complain at others hard work. Looks like jealousy to me... It is so funny! Some people can´t handle that a person likes big engines. It is 2 times chevy 540 cui´s in this boat. Before it was equipped with twin turbos and lefted aproxomly 1400 hp each.
