The sequel will be Iron Man 2, coming out in 2010. Though there will be an Avengers movie after all the members of the Avengers are introduced within their own individual movies in line-up Marvel has planned, from 2008 until 2011. If you watched the end of the credits for Iron Man, that was an obvious indication for those who haven't yet seen the line-up. I'm like, so excited. :D

Of course they are not going 2 make a sequel the next movie with iron man in it will be the avengers. At the end of the hulk movie Tony Stark appears and says 'we are making a super team'. A thor movie is currently being made so it will wrap up with shield finding thor. The Avengers movie's main character will be captain america. Well technically the war fighting part was only Iraqis and somehow some Hungarians got thrown in, I don't know about that but the comics were made to fit whatever war is going on. In older editions it was like Vietnam War and so on, and the recent issues have included the war going on in Iraq because Iron Man is about justice which is why we can keep modernizing it.
