Depends on how you make it. . . attaching the wires to the capacitor would pack quite the punch, but if you use the wires already attached to the flash, it shouldn't be too bad. . . :D
@LipGlossBand its not very dangerous! i have build it too and have it too with harder shocks and it hurts like a... likeeeee..... hmmmmmmmmm... if u have a cut wound and that for a second after the second it is normal:D
@LipGlossBand it depends where the cords are attached. the way he did this in the video, no. but i found a way to do it with less of a shock, but its complicated and if you mess up a little
Firstly, if you run too much voltage through the charging circuit, it'll fry. Adding a bigger 1.5V battery (like a D-cell) will decrease charging time.
Secondly, adding a higher voltage capacitor won't do any better, because it can't charge past what the circuit inputs.
And thirdly, have you ever actually tried *stunning* someone with one of these? It only emits one pulse, so unless you use one powerful enough to remove a large chunk of their flesh, you're out of luck.
If you use just a regular one, you can actually make someones entire body freeze up and fall down. The trick is where you hit, if you nail the back of the neck right near the area where the skull and spine connect the person will just drop and be shooken up.
mrkreten its dc u fool. direct current.

can this really stun you? cuz i was thinking about making one to zap my friends, but i dont want to send them to the hospital
LipGlossBand 2 years ago
I wouldn't recommend trying it on people, its not a toy.

Its not that bad, my friend had one and i let hit zap me like 5 times, it hurt, and left scars on my arm, but it was fun :P
REDNECKDUKEBOY 2 years ago

to increase it you dont add bigger batteries.
the part thats giving you the shock is the capacitor. its the little thing that looks like a stubby batterie which is charged by the batterie.
the point is if you wanna make it more powerful, add a bigger capacitor. (the one in it is 300-400 volts).
nigeldachamp 3 years ago
lol my friend made one of those
and he somehow incorporated 2 9 volts
it had me floored
tehsk3tch 3 years ago
your a liar if he had 2 nine volts you'd be dead
assuming he added a bigger capacitor

the only taser tat can stun a guy is the real taser but i think we shl buy compoents that increase the voltage any1 got ideas?
hackgirl02 3 years ago
easy buy the cheap one with the compartment for the film take film out and buy a AA battery holder at radio shack.
and put 2 AA's or get a 9 volt
but that shit hurts.
use ur imagination.
MU3ICFR3AK 3 years ago
no , u wire the wires straight from the capacitor instead , that way u get 330v's ( from standard flash cameras)
girlsdrinkfeck 3 years ago
that as well as the double battery powering!
MU3ICFR3AK 3 years ago
and replace the capacitor to a larger one frm a PSU and use a 9v battery instead
