There is no way this can be on the most difficult setting. At 4:15 when you crawl/walk up to and stun the first PMC, the other one you CQC hears you. I've just tried this literally 15 times, not once did it work.

@dareljohn Under 5 hours, no kills, TBE difficulty, no alerts, no "special" items (like stealth camo and bandana), no recovery items.

I'm still not sure if pausing the game paused the timer, cutscenes etc... but I've gotten through in time and on TBE, so can't be doing it too wrong.

@Aanlaien You can do it. The odds are 1 out of 200 to beat second half of Act 3. So (not to sound sarcastic) play it 199 times. It's all probability. I Beat it twice, the first time I was pissed, the second time I had fun because I knew I would die a lot. You'll get it eventually. I promise u.

@antediluvian99 ya i thought that too. one thing you can do is a trick where the oil drums near the guys you drive by can be shot with a lethal ammunition blowing up and killing the badguys, and the system doesn't count it as a kill. also there tends to be a drum near the places where they actually shoot you. i did this and noticed i got through the section at a much higher percentage of the time during the bike chase.

I just need the thing to speed it up and possibly increase health during rail shooter segments (I'm assuming it heals a little bit in segments like Drebin's ride and the Bike Chase in Act 3). @vgman94 Yes, I'm aware of the 5-hour time limit. It shouldn't take long for Snake's health to regen, so long as your Psyche meter is high enough. I honestly wasn't even aware that some of the iPod songs could regen health. I've never used the iPod. Figure enemies can hear it, so why use it?

i found it kinda easy to do after u beat it once and get the (SPOILER ALERT) Emotive ammo (cry), Emotive ammo (laughter), Emotive ammo (rage),

Emotive ammo (scream), Smoke Grenade (blue), Smoke Grenade (green)

Smoke Grenade (red) , and Smoke Grenade (yellow) since it dont kill it just makes them go nucking futs

getting the big boss emblem is hard as fuck...very frustrating(even tho i consider myself kind of a mgs veteran since ive played trough all of the "3d" versions more than 10 times each )but still...its a herculean effort..the time limit is what makes it really tideous..if it werent for the time limit it would be a breeze as long as you have patience..but that doesnt mean i dont appreciate it...nowadays games are way too easy and noob-friendly

Ah...just an observation, In 2:19, if u go left of this little house, therell be a barrel which u can kick. The guards will check it and the scene wont be showed, saving u some time. Also, u dont need to crawl all the way. if the guards just "Huh?" theres no problem, u see? of course, as long as you leave the place the momment the guard suspects something.

@Cyclops4770 no, an alert means, when it shows alert at the top, there are certain parts where u will DEFINATLY be scene, so they disable alert mode for them, I.E outer haven interior.

Yeah, if I start a new game just for fun, I always tranquilize the guard with the special gun and steal it. Also, it's not the MGL. It's the HK machine gun, which uses the same ammo as the M14 and the M60. It's good until you get the M60.

@117starpower aright dude you need complete it under 5 hours and you cant you any health items like the compass rations every thing that could help you.. you can use that eye thing and iPod and mk2 ( little robot thing ) that all you can use. you cant kill anyone including the bosses you have to use mk22 and you cant be seen by anyone no continues if you fail you have to back out and load up your last save ok am pretty much anything that's blue, gun wise you can use ok not red.. that's all GL

@RCBreaker you can use a lethal guns on the the beasts but not the person for the beast if that makes sense. when you get to the women stage use non-lethal on her. but when you get on wolf boss watch his video on her there's a way to beat her in like two minutes hope that helps i don't think i would of done it on my own i need help manly on the ship and the wolf stage o and the fight at the end that fucking stupid hard

@vladahmad yes, pausing the game counts for your time. Even pausing cutscenes. If you don't press START when the game installs the next act, it won't count, however.
