  • Say what? They leave NY at different times and arrive and depart at Newark different times too. Newark Penn station has 6 tracks for NJT and Amtrak, 5 of which New York trains use. The NJT left NY ahead of the Amtrak, and arrived and departed ahead of it too. The diesel trains parked on the other track terminate at Newark. Many of the NY trains do not go to Newark Penn either.
