  • Hi. I never usually bother commenting but felt I had to after watching all of your cine footage. I am a Walsall lad now living in Hereford. I lived in Dora Street for a while and my Dad used to push me around Pleck Park in my pram. As I was born in 1970 a lot of your footage is very familiar and I'm ashamed to say bought tears to my eyes. I always liked my home town but now love it more now we've moved away. By the way the bridge at the end looks like the one by Fellows Park (Morrisons). Thanks.

  • Hi, so glad you did, Thank You. Your correct about the bridge, was my Nan & Grandad driving over it. Hereford is a much nicer looking place I dare say, Dora St has a lot of memories for me, sad ones of late. It makes my eyes well up watching also because it's my family, and a lot of them are now dead and gone, and I'll never be able to speak to any of them ever again. Looking back Im so glad my uncle, "Walsall Wedding" who got married, made these films. Priceless now to me. Thanks for watching.

  • Thanks for your comment. Thought i'd check you out & love the old footage of the Herald. I have plenty of cine with my mums mk1 Vitesse on DVD. Don't you just love those old motors??

  • Yes I love them, only wished I'd captured more video of my own Vitesse when I had the chance.

  • I thought it was you washing the car - the toddler not the adult of course

  • Ha Ha

  • timeless do you know the people in the film??

  • Yes, It's Roy who got married in wedding film.
