Jason sounds like shit singing this,Trish plods along with no feel at all (as he does when he plays most of the classic Chicago songs.) Can't believe what I hear out of these guys sometimes. I think it's time for them to retire.
Jason Scheff blows! Peter Cetera rules! Cetera should have never left the band and drummer Danny Seraphine never should have been ousted. Terry Kath can't come back from heaven. I see James Pankow and Walter Parazaider are missing(Nick Lane is subbing for Parazaider).
It's hard to pick my favorite Chicago songs because there are a lot of good ones. But if i had to personally pick my favorite Chicago songs they would be in this order from earliest to latter,Introduction,Beginnings ,Wake Up Sunshine,Color My World,Dialogue,Feeling Stronger Everyday,Call On Me,Old Days,Another Rainyday In New York City,Baby What A Big Surprise,Alive Again, and No Tell Lover.
We saw this gig in london 31st July. We are USA ex-pats, have been waiting ever since the EWF dvd came out in 2004. Took the kids, they loved it. Was happy just to hear/see robert live, total class and warmth. The (now ex-) wife loves Jason! Hey, have to say he played better than Verdine. Fun slightly surreal gig at the Excel centre in London. Would understand if they didn't want to come back! PS Saw EWF at Wembley May 06 great seats and a funny story :)
Both Nick and Ray does a great job filling in for Jimmy Pankow and Walt Parazaider. It´s amazing that Lee, Ray and Nick can create a true Chicagosound with only one of the original brassplayers on stage. Check out the cool trombonesolo by Nick!!!
70's when I saw them. LMAO, when Elvis'-bass-player's-son attempts to sing Cetera's original part in falsetto "Can't have you hidn'". Sounds like he got kicked in the nuts and not sure of himself? Then again, don't know if Cetera sang it that well as I was toking up a reefer at that concert?
