You can't take money from people who earn it and give it to people who haven't earned it. Only the people who earned the money can use it wisely. For this reason, taxation and corporatism is causing our standard of living to decrease. Greed is taking over the world and countries are going bankrupt all because of big governments. Reduce the size of government, get ride of taxation, go back to the gold standard, and all will be well.

He has right that the corporations are taking money that they don't have, and make more money out of that for themselves, and that if an average citizen did that, they would be in jail. However, the problem of being part of a corporation, is that its usually impossible to point the fingers opposed to an average citizen. But that, in fact, might be part of the scam.
Michael has some good points but doesn't seems to know the difference between corporatism and free market capitalism. Look at Obama now, just another fascist. Fascism takes hold when people trust a government to look after them. It starts with government socialism and a regulated market economy, then develops to corporatism and then to fascism. Free market unregulated capitalism only works with minimal government, and corruption is impossible to take hold.

Prior to that time, the markets were completely unregulated. Fascism in this country started in the Reagan years when our government started running as a corporation and not as a democracy. In a totally free market, the consumers and workers have all the power, not the business people. @nikolayzou The thing is that people have to recognise that market economy only works in commodities, but not in services and necessities. (school, healthcare, housing, food, etc.) In democratic socialism, the market would still exist, but only in dealing with inessential goods. The Tea Party wants to go in the exact opposite direction and privatise everything possible and revert the country back into how it was in the 19th century. A movement that wants to move time backwards is doomed to fail.

If two people decide to engage in a peaceful contract, not even a million people can interfere, even if they use a democratic process. The only way everyone can live without being exploited, is having completely free markets with NO regulations. The market is a natural process and you need force and violence in order to control it. With the force you use to control it, you then plant the seeds for corruption.

And as time goes on, the more powerful exploit the weak, until you have what we have today in which an oligarchy of corporations exploit the entire 'consumer' population. Without regulations, businesses aren't obligated to respect human health and well being or the environment. If profit is the only motive for everything, then nobody will be happy and the whole system will fail.

Study the difference between Austrian Economics and Keynesian Economics. If you don't want to exploit people in a free market, you need the Austrian school which basically says, money is based on production and must be backed by gold. Friedman was an intellectual GIANT and was described as being "the most influential economist of the second half of the 20th century…possibly of all of it." Fascism takes hold when people trust a government to look after them. It starts with government socialism and a regulated market economy, then develops to corporatism and then to fascism. Free market unregulated capitalism only works with minimal government, and corruption is impossible to take hold.

Prior to that time, the markets were completely unregulated. Fascism in this country started in the Reagan years when our government started running as a corporation and not as a democracy. (school, healthcare, housing, food, etc.) In democratic socialism, the market would still exist, but only in dealing with inessential goods. The only way everyone can live without being exploited, is having completely free markets with NO regulations. The market is a natural process and you need force and violence in order to control it. And as time goes on, the more powerful exploit the weak, until you have what we have today in which an oligarchy of corporations exploit the entire 'consumer' population. Without regulations, businesses aren't obligated to respect human health and well being or the environment. If profit is the only motive for everything, then nobody will be happy and the whole system will fail.

Study the difference between Austrian Economics and Keynesian Economics. If you don't want to exploit people in a free market, you need the Austrian school which basically says, money is based on production and must be backed by gold. Our healthcare is rated higher than yours and our educational system puts yours to shame. hi mike sure would be nice to have healthcare i am a fellow flintstone w/ mine and my husbands salary made 48,000+ we also had decent healthcare.foward to today we are living off his s.s.d.i.checks and thank the lord for vietnam my husband gets fullhealthcare at the v.a. we get just over 20.000 a year and im too rich to get any healthcare and too bluecollar to get a job ps THANKS GM.

Wrong. It was the fed, in collusion with government, that set interest rates far below the market rate, so that the average person was virtually forced to invest their retirement savings in the stock market (via 401k, diversified RSPs, mutual funds, etc.)as a hedge against inflation.

Our government and Society have been so polluted and corrupted by the rich selfish elite that the very fabric of good life is virtually dead in the U.S.. The middle class is virtually none existent and those with jobs are to afraid to ask for better working conditions because their afraid they'll loose what they already have. Today's Society is divided into slave servants, us, and our kingly employers, the few elite money hoarders. If the people wont unite we'll be stuck in this hell.
