Our weimador does this anytime he wants something. So funny. I just ask what he wants and he will usually walk straight to his bowl or the door. Great dogs!
One of mine does the same thing but only from sitting. She'll raise one paw and tap me with it and if that doesn't work then both paws. Usually ending up with her sitting next to me resting both paws on my knee.

We have a weim and he does the exact same thing when my daddy leaves for work!!! Hahaha, they are very intelligent dogs though!

Lolll My weimaraner is EXACTLY the same. When I have my shirt off, he'll paw at my shoulder and it hurts lol I'm forced to play with him.
