Great tutorial! I reallly don´t use HD clips because all the HD clips I have are in avi and Windows Vista has some problems with avi so I use wmv and then the HD makes the quality worster with that format :S

if your trying to convert a video to widescreen that is NOT widescreen

you have to check the box that says stretch video to fill output frame size, which is in the first rener window,

There should be an sfk file and a wmv file. Delete the sfk file and keep the wmv...

Sony Vegas dose not, but Sony Vegas Pro dose. So if you want to start doing HD for Youtube and the other video, you will have to up grade to the Pro version. I just did that myself

There are pretty much changes compared to the older version of Camtasia Studio.

The only thing I don't seem to find is the option to let the screen follow your cursor while recording. (like on the older version)

don't get mad! but.. i DO CAN save it in widescreen. but the clips are still in the usual size if you know what i mean? so there are black things on the sides on the video when i'm saving it. it shouldn't look like that, right? anyway, thanks for putting this up! i dunno understand why they changed the screen on YT though =_=

Right click on the clip in the timeline, then click properties, now uncheck "maintain aspect ratio" and click ok. Do this for all the clips in your movie. I hope this works.

Why would you possibly need 1440 by 1080 for YouTube? HD is 1280x720.

You need to force a higher BitRate, just because you set it as 3M doesn't mean you will get that, and since there is no movement, its harder to do it.
