Thanks Professor Brown for the helpful video on how to survive in a bad economy. Clients: look for me at the corner of Whitney and Dixwell. I'm the one with a leopard print attache, a matching thong, and no job.
I don't remember his name, but the guy with the long-ish blond hair was the BEST -- especially when he unbuttons his jacket and swivels his hips at 0:24. I miss this show!
Even in HS during the 90's, I used to watch this before SNL. Heck, everyone knew Almost Live was funnier than SNL. Too bad KIng5 NBC didn;t have the budget for them. Good days...
It would be funny if it weren't so close to the truth. The destruction of law (or business) as a profession by the mass overproduction of law school (or MBA) grads represents the loss of yet one more formerly respectable and reliable ladder of upward mobility. Our politicians and the media have been selling education (for non-existent job positions) as the solution to our economic problems for decades. Get ready to witness the death of the middle class and the birth of Third World America.

Being I've worked in law for the past several years, this was always my favorite Almost Live sketch. So happy to find it on You Tube!

Yeah, and they have the same announcer guy, too.
whammypower788 3 years ago
The announcer guy is Pat Cashman. He is in the Taco Time commercials now.
SYHroxmysox 3 years ago
Pat's voiceover makes this seem like a sleazy "Science Guy" sketch. :-P

I miss "Almost Live". One of the most creative things on TV so they had to kill it. (And it was a local Seattle production.)
