hops are the closest related plant to marijuana, soooo no it will not hurt you.

You only need 1/2 a tsp of irish moss for 5 gallons and you add it 15 minutes before the boil is over (45 minutes in for a 60 minute boil), just for reference.

I dont think Hops are lethal to humans but they certainly are to dogs !
