This night was my first time at Bowman Gray and this race is what brings me back there every Sat night! These guys who race there are awesome and although sum of my friends call me a hick because I love it so much and trust me I am far from one, there's no other place I want to be on race night! Burt was actually leading the race with under 5 laps to go and battling for the track championship.. Junior Miller running second and not trying to win the race, decided to flat dump Myers in turn 1.  So with everything lost, and reaching a boiling point, Myers drove slow on the restart for Miller to come around and catch him. At that point the video shows the rest.

The track owner is at fault for all of this. He SHOULD throw them both out and never let them race again. At every other track that's how it works. But there's a TV camera so they let it go for a good show. This guys are a bunch of rednecks that give racing a bad name.

I have raced at Caraway, Orange and Wake in NC and this type of BS is not tolerated. Intentionally wrecking someone after the race and your susupended. I spend too much on my cars to put up with this type of BS.

The crap that goes down at Bowman Gray is absolutely appalling. As a former volunteer on my neighbor's modified team, i can safely say if I was in charge I'd never bring my car to this track to have some two-bit nearly come to a stop on the backstretch so he can destroy our equipment after the checkers. You do that shit at any track in the northeast and you'll be suspended for the season.
