You have to realize that I took video clips from movies such as saving private ryan so I could have war scenes with weaponry authentic to world war 2 even though the landing on omaha beach had no connection to the dresden bombings other than they were both in wwii.

@40AcreMule you're right, it has nothing to do with the atomic bomb or d day, I used footage from films on those topics though because that is all I had available to me. Plus in the context of this you can't really tell if they are fighting on d day or if they are fighting elsewhere. And the explosion was supposed to be on Dresden as the city was destroyed in the novel and in real life. Stop overanalyzing things.
