okay think of it this way. You have brand new parts in the engine and when you start it up all the new parts are moving and fitting in together... Metal is actually being shaved when those parts move because its being adjusted when the motor is running. Revving the shit out of if puts more stress on the motor. That is why they sell special "Break in" engine oils.

@kennethbarker i agree with RDRman.... NEVER rev the shit out of a fresh built engine. Theres a break-in period of roughly 5000 miles. Don't go rev past 4,500. If you follow those guidelines, then your engine components will last longer, such as piston rings, bearings... etc.

Yeah i agree with you RDRman the car didnt make any kilometer and is just accelarating at max and with the temperature low. The engine is not work in perfect condition untill it reaches the optimum temp. Whell later it will feel the impact. Nice crx by the way but if i were you instead of that swap i would have made to the b16 or b18 not d15b.

@metallicaguzman once you buy the engine, you can connact rywire, and they can hook you up with a plug and play deal, alot of peps on here may talk shit but i would do it again, 1000% stress free, i had 200 in the harness, altenator and air from old engine is the same as what comes on the swap if you get a complete swap axles and all
