Gingrich is responsible for launching the modern era of influence peddling in Congress. He is morally and intellectually repulsive. He has been directly involved in dubious money making schemes in Congress and out and continues to be involved with such schemes inappropriately exploiting political vehicles. He was pillorying Clinton for “inappropriate" sexual behavior while he himself was indulging in salacious sexual behavior, while treating his first two wives like dirt in the process.

Gingrich is clearly a faux intellectual who does not really think through the implications of many of his dubious theories - which are often thrown out of his mouth like spit to see which ones will stick. He often has no clue about their antecedents or consequences. Gingrich does not know how to run an organization effectively and is wildly inconsistent in his statements and thought processes. He undoubtedly would be a major embarrassment to this country as President.

At 0:53 - Gingrich: "Sometimes we have to get a certain sense of humor in politics. The Donald has had the number one show in the country. OK? He is a genuine American icon in his own right. Why wouldn't you want to come and hang out with him?" - Get a sense of humor? Sure, we all agree that the Republican presidential primary is a joke. Why not hang out with Trump? Hmm, maybe because, amazingly (to use Trump's favorite adverb), he's an even bigger embarrassment/clown than you are, Newt.
