  • I love June in R. Strauss. Her Daphne was a revelation to me. I agree with kgarmaker that she sounds far more comfortable here than in trying to reprise arias from her repertoire of 15-20 years ago.

  • I think this role and music suits her voice.. June when singing bel canto, had developed a pretty noticeable wobble. In this music, with a lower tessitura, it is not noticeable.. she sounds more comfortable. I actually like this.. I have always been a fan..
