I’ve been rereading the late Leroy Aarons book “Prayers for Bobby”, focusing on the chapter

entitled ”The Leper”. I must confess that it was shocking to read of the depth of Bobbies’

self loathing and despair

.  It was a side of him I myself was far too young to perceive. Though

these events occurred more than 27 yrs ago they are rendered horrifically fresh by the terrible

rash of teen suicides this year, nine alone in September! That’s why I’ve been referring to it as

“Bloody September 2010”.It’s both inexcusable and shameful that such things are happening

In this 21st century! This must stop, young people must be made aware of their immense value!
