I don't give a shit what anyone else thinks, I'll go by what I consider to be great. The stuff Bowie and Lennon did doesn't appeal to me. I like clever lyrics and a catchy tune.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of the Beatles, but Lennon is hugely overrated. I'd also add that Cobain, Elvis, Amy Winehouse, Alice in Chains, The Streets.....You consider them to be legends?

But you can't tell someone to stop using the word 'genius' so freely and then use it to describe people who are clearly not genii.

Trip isn't a joke at all. The colloquial form of his music mixed with some Artic Monkeys-style tunes are pretty impressive, and the lyrics are very clever.
