Yes, yes, I remember 76, when no woman shaved at all, at all. When the proper entrance was that with the WELCOME sign engraved in the bearded math. No misunderstandings, no nothing. Nowadays it's all so confusing.
love Peter Garrett's comment on how AM radio in Australia is so bland "you can't even dance to it!" very true, you can say the same thing today about commercial FM radio.
Great. I loved Sounds from it's inception and watched it religiously throughout the mid 70s to mid 80s. (I also have a Sounds interview from 1986 on my page).
This was a refreshing ADULT music show, yet people seem to remember Molly Meldrum more than Donnie

This was the best Australian music show ever made. I remember as a kid in the the late 70s early 80s watching this every Saturday morning.
Loves theme would open and close it. It was great.

Donnie Sutherland used to screw underage girls in the back of a van outside disco's he hosted. My sister was one of the idiots at 14 years old.

'Love Theme' by the Love Unlimited Orchestra (Barry White)... it was also used as the theme music for SOUNDS.

The skinhead Garrett obviously had never heard of 3XY. He needs to get an education.

Love the tribute to Donnie, but, how did you get my clip?
damo3805 4 years ago
i saved it as an flv file, then converted it and finally made it part of my video. that's about it.
If you want more detail, just send me a message and i'll explain further. Donnie's aware that people put up stuff of his past onto youtube.
