my friends parents live in the house they were talking about in this video.. we used to go on hayrides there every halloween, the exact location of this cry baby bridge is in Parish, Il. there's nothing scary at all about this place, lol. we used to walk down there and hang out all the time, never herd a baby cry or anything... just an urban legend.

hey i went to a cry baby bridge in illinois and we put baby powder on our bumper and put our car in neutreul at the end of the bridge and it pushed us across it was so creepy then when we got out to check there was hand prints on the back of the car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oklahoma has a few bridges itself. The closest one to me is in Martha. It crumbled. I think they're gonna fix it. Some say now if you go there, you'll see figures hovering on where the bridge was intact.

One of my friends told me about a scary story that took place in Flordia called Cry Baby Bridge. Sometime in the early

1900's a woman was pregnat by her boyfriend and in those times it was shamed to be pregant without being married. When the woman presented this to her boyfriend the man said he didn't want anything to do with her and the baby. She jumps off the bridge with the baby and they both die. They say to this day that when you go by the bridge that you hear a baby crying.

i live south of monmouth, have been around monmouth all my life. the REAL story is a mother took her childs life by throwing it off the bridge, told her husband and he killed het too. He later then HUNG not SHOT himself in his barn, (bueffords barn) this barn has been decided unsafe and buldozed in many years ago. your car WILL move across the bridge but your doors WONT lock. the baby still haunts it. get your facts right --

I'll answer that question with another question. If it's just folklore then, explain why we're all over the country? We had to have come from somewhere, some beleive god put us here, others believe we came from other means. Evidence of our exsistance comes from different things, and so does what people can consider evidence of these "folklore". Some people just convince themselves that it's not true just like many do with lots of things, anything proven can shot down but so can things that arent

I will admit, nighttime investigations are really cool to do! But there is no "law" that states ghosts only come out at night! The Ghost Research Society actually met the people telling the story that day...There was supposed to be someone else leading the day long retreat, but something came up and we had a substitute. We had a good time in Benton taking in the stories and folklore of the area.

Alright, yeah I agree with you there, could be just that so much of the evidence well what is considered evidence can be caught at night as to when you do it during the day you get little to no results, could be the "lost souls" come out at night because that is what the "evil" or "dark forces" we all hear and talk about do their trickery at night to be hidden and harder to be discovered, just like we the living who do such acts do mostly at night.

The "Cry Baby" thing is VERY common around southern Illinois apparently. Between McL & Macedonia there is a supposed "Cry Baby Lane" Never heard or felt anything out there & I'm a moderate sensitive...try The Old Slave House, if you can find a way to be allowed in, that would be an amazing place to get started.
