Ok so i know this is kind of a noob question but I've been using DSLR and recently I was about to buy a bessa r3m and i was wondering what does the nokton and heliar stands for in lenses of rf?
@ArpeggioColors The Heliar is nice because it has a special look to it. The out of focus area when you shoot it wide open almost seems like a painted background on a movie set or something. Otherwise I don't use it much. I typically shoot with my 40mm f1.4 Nokton because it's smaller, lighter, and faster. I have forgotten to extend the lens a couple of times. It's a really heavy lens for its size and I find the focusing ring a lot more of a nuisance than other lenses.
Why don't you have the decency to steam the wrinkles out your white cloth backdrop before exposing it on the web for everyone to see?!?!?!? :) (Okay, I'm joking!!) Actually, I just received the Bessa R4A and 21 mm Color Skopar f4 and I'm anxious to take my doggies out for an evening rangefinder walk downtown with some 3200. I really appreciate your posting this video..and love the cows!
Perfect, all i have to do is decide R4M or R4A. The idea of battery-less operation just appeals, and having to meter light with the leds every time helps to learn manual exposure without a light-meter eventually.
im selling a leica m2 in amazing condition! check it out!
i have also posted 2 links for two separate lenses for this camera. they are sold separately. one of the lens auctions is finished in a couple of hours so bid fast!
put this item number into the ebay search bar and my auction for the m2 will come up!
The camera handles better with the side grip. I also decided against the trigger winder combo since I heard it does not work very smoothly. I like the camera and Ultron 35mm 1.7 combo. I also mount a 1950's 50mm 1.4 Canon, both lenses attach with the screw mount to M-mount adapter.
@docrjay I don't think they do. Also, I don't really like the trigger winder. It's not a very smooth action and I suspect it might have been to blame for my R3A problems.
This is by far the best camera overview I have seen so far. Thanks. I love the camera. Want to buy one.

why don`t you say something about the camera instead of playing this stupid music :D
it would be much more interesting to hear how it compares to other cameras.....
