I have a V10 TDI and it works it accelerates 0-100km in 5 seconds and gets to 250 km. It's great off road. I go mudding in it and go in water and i havent got stuck yet. But I wish the fuel milage was a little better than 27 mpg. But it's better than the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S it's cheaper,has the same off road capabillities, and better fuel consumption
I have the v-10 TDI for my boat dock business, and run it on biodiesel. I tow trailers, so I use the air shocks constantly to go up and down. The rear camera makes it so I can hook up to and move a trailer around the shop without getting out. It's a serious off road vehicle, extremely fast on the road, and tows like a sonofabitch.
I only have to work 4 extra days a month to make the payment. Who needs Saturdays?
The Touareg is one of the best off roading SUVs ever made as long as you have air suspension. The Touareg can do alot, go look at the rest of the videos of stocked Touareg doing things some jeeps could never do. Also V8 and V10 Touaregs go 0-60 in 7.0s and reach speeds up to 140mph, only the SRT8 can do that.
Glad you like them. All the 'Unlimited' videos I've posted are a from a VW organised event for new Touareg owners in UK to try track and offroad driving, in VW supplied vehicles (so no damage to your new Touareg!). My own is a V10, though Shadow blue, not Silver, so have to agree about it being a favourite! :)
