If you do write on it, make sure you keep the end of the tap on your left and the reel on the right (opposite from what this guy's doing it). The last thing you want when starting to copy over your notes is to have to unreel the whole thing to get to the start of the notes.

Having finished school, now that i think back, I say, sometimes, the simpler the cheat method the harder sometimes it is for the inspector(s) to suspect anything is happening. For instance. Manipulate the desk itself, when you know where exactly you are sitting. Especially if there is already stuff written on it. The bathroom trick is also effective. Use stuff that you will easily be able to access without drawing unnecessary attention. A 40 Feet cheat paper is not really that effective.
