  • Do you really know what tithing is? If you don't I'm going to show you. Clearing up the misunderstanding about tithing in today's New Testament Church.

  • [15] And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

  • a person can be passionate about what he feels is right. but be wrong across the board.

Only those who Love and Serve the Lord Jesus really know something about Righteousness. We are his Disciples and Servants. We are Children of God.

Civil rights mean nothing apart from Righteousness. A Nation can be led astray, even when they think they are righteous.

If you are not seeking Christ as Lord over your, If you are not submitting to serve him, if you are not his Disciple then you are lost.

  • at 4:18 did he say dog-ded? lmao!

  • And despite what he and others think, actually came about with the help of WHITE PEOPLE as well!

  • i dont understand why everyone on here is being so rude! anyways this was beautiful mr. president

  • Barney Frank (D) Mass said the other day "what I meant by Affordable Housing was Renting not Buying". Thank you Barney Frank (D) Mass for your honesty. Now raise your right hand and repeat after me. I sware to tell the whole truth.....

  • And thank you Dorothy Height for the work you did for ALL Americans and ignoring the GOP bigots like chaumont 20 the jackass.

  • I watched this ceremony on CSPAN and was disgusted by the Dr. Height's nephew's eulogy, he nearly repeated the eulogy of Princess Diana spoken by her brother. Listen to it if you can, and then listen to the eulogy of Princess Diana by her brother. He directly stole words and phrases from that eulogy. So sad he could not be more original for his aunt.

  • Beautiful Job, Mr. President. Thank you, Dr. Dorothy Height for all you did. You were faithful until death and praise God, you know have your crown of life promised.

  • Wonderful!

  • President Obama can be so moving. Sometimes people do not treat him fairly. He is a good guy. He tries to be the President of all Americans, and we all should remember that! I think this was his destiny --- to be an example of a person and leader who listens and cares and believes in everyone's dignity and cooperation in making this world a better place for everyone! Yes?

  • She will live always in our hearts... Bless her for all she is ...

  • RIP. She was incredible.

  • What a Lady!

  • obama the best

  • Thank you Ms. Height! Great job President Obama as usual!

  • This video is so inspirational. Dorothy is a reminder we must always fight for justice, freedom, and equality. The force of our wills and the indomitable spirit of human dreams shall break the glass ceiling!

  • Al Sharpton would to well to take note of how Dr. Height used her education and influence over the years.

"Content of one's character..." as they say.

  • I can tell by the somber tone in President Obama's voice that he was really honored and humbled to give the eulogy at Dr. Dorothy Height's funeral.

  • @lildwayne21 I'll bet she's real proud that the unemployment rate of Afro - American males is at 25%. I'll bet she's real proud that 70% of Afro - American children grow up in a home with no father. I'll bet she's real proud that Afro - Americans vote 92% of the time for Democrats but complain about the same things over and over and over again. The person Afro - Americans should be making a hero is Justice Clarence Thomas.

  • @chaumont20 I bet she's real proud that she hasn't encountered ignorant people like you. People who like to stereotype, lie, and fabricate numbers about african oops I mean "afro" americans. blacks vote democrat...so what. Tell the GOP to do a better job of addressing our community and listening to us then they get somewhere...and thats a big maybe. Go kick rocks.

  • @trooper40below Conservatives and the GOP address and listen to you everyday but you never, ever listen to us. Why ! I want everybody in this country to be the best that they can. Everybody.

  • @chaumont20 Who want to listen to the GOP when they have people in the party poking at people's prejudices like Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Michael Savage, etc...When you have Palin out there saying Obama is friends with a "terrorist". The GOP has never ever addressed a single thing in the african american community. Not a thing. Why? because they really never needed our votes. They were winning elections without the black an latino vote.

  • @trooper40below Conservatives and Republicans don't look at America as groups. We look at Americans as Americans. People who pander to ethnic groups are the ones who see people as separate from America. That's called racism.

  • @chaumont20 Thats because for the most part republicans and the GOP are pretty much made up of white men and a lot of them haven't been affected by race while others have. That is something conservatives don't understand. Women still get discriminated against and to ignore those realities or to just dismiss it as often times as the GOP does is the reason why they can't connect with minorities.

  • @chaumont20 the GOP will always see things as "reverse racism" as well. Like when Obama selected Sonia Sotomayor to the SC. Like puerto rican women held the white man back or something. The GOP need to get a grip because quite frankly they don't see everybody as americans. A lot of conservatives are threatned by a diverse country that is changing before their eyes.

  • @chaumont20 You had Sarah Palin out there dividing the country saying real america is rural america while major cities like NYC, Chicago, LA, etc...were not. This is all on the conservative end. Conservative radio talk shows like Limbaugh, Beck, Hannity, Savage, etc...all spew conservative propaganda and slander on the airwaves. Its crazy for you to think conservatives are so innocent. You really need to wake up. Height and women faced a lot of discrimination.

  • @trooper40below But the "bitter clingers" remark was made to unite the country, right. After Arizona passed their ID law President Obama threatened them constitutionally. Clinton tried to divide us using the class system now President Obama want to divide us racially as well. He's using Class and Race.

  • @chaumont20 Republicans never go directly to the african american community and talk to them while democrats do. So why should african americans, latinos, native americans, etc... give the GOP the time of day? Dorothy Height got white, latino, black women, all women together to discuss women issues. Martin Luther King wanted all of us no matter the race to be brothers. The GOP in this time and age play politics. Especially now that Obama is president.

  • @chaumont20

GOP is a fascist Corporate organization. Stop it.

  • @edrubangura Democrats take you for granted. I don't know about you but I hate to be takin for granted. Republicans and Conservatives want everybody in this country to do as well as their talents and aspirations take them. When was the last time you heard that from a Democrat ?

  • @chaumont20 Republicans take people for granted as well. You stress conservatives want people to do well as their talents will take them and when was the last time you heard that from democrats? Barack Obama, Bill Cllinton, Al Gore. Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, Bill Richardson, Ted Kennedy, etc...Conservative wanted to ban Obama speech to kids about hard work in school. Chaumont give it a rest bro.

  • @chaumont20

Republicans are just empty words, they can tell you to do as well as your talents and aspirations take you, but they will not provide you a shot to do that, like helping the poor americans to get education or reform healthcare to cover 47 millions of uninsured americans, or even protect you against wall street fraud or credit card companies by putting more regulations. Republican ideology is bad for the USA middle class.

  • @edrubangura Education starts at home, Nobody can insure your health for free, I trust Wall Street alot more than I trust Government. Democrat ideology is crushing the USA middle class.

  • @chaumont20

Wall street always failed when it's deregulated, and it was deregulated last time by republican phil gramm and the senate by remove the glass steagall act, and now the derivatives scam cost 600 trillions. Calvin Coolidge and Hoover collapsed our economy by deregulating wall street, and it took the government of Roosevelt to save us from the depression. education and healthcare should be free and provided by government as it collect our taxes.

  • @edrubangura The meltdown occured because of the Fair housing and Community Reinvestment act. Starting in 1979 the U.S. Government concluded that every american should OWN a home. The banks prompted by Barney Frank (D) Mass. and Chris Dodd (D) Conn gave out loans to millions of people who couldn't afford them. They scapegoat WallStreet for this but Fredie Mac and Fannie Mae are the real culprets and they are run by the Government. Haven't you ever heard the term "Affordable Housing".

  • @chaumont20

The 2008 financial collapse was not caused by the Community Reinvestment Act of 1977 that addressed discrimination in loans made to individuals and businesses from low and moderate-income neighborhoods rather by the 262-page amendment into the omnibus appropriations bill titled: Commodity Futures Modernization Act slipped clandestinely by the republican senator Phil Gramm, while shortly after George W. Bush was elected president.

  • @chaumont20

The essence of the 1979 act was the deregulation of derivatives trading (financial instruments whose value changes in response to the changes in underlying variables; the main use of derivatives is to reduce risk for one party). The legislation contained a provision -- lobbied for by Enron, a major campaign contributor to Gramm -- that exempted energy trading from regulatory oversight.

  • @edrubangura If the Democrats could have pinned the financial meltdown on Sen. Graham don't you think it would have already happened. The Democrats know better then anybody how this happened. They are scapegoating everybody they can to keep it away from them. Why haven' t the Executives of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae been called to testify. That's the question.

  • @chaumont20

Basically the 1969 act gave way to the Enron debacle and ushered in the new era of unregulated securities. Interestingly enough, Gramm's wife, Wendy, had been part of the Enron board, and her salary and stock income brought in between $900,000 and $1.8 million to the Gramm household, prior to the passage of the Commodity Futures Modernization

  • @chaumont20

Tax cuts for the wealthy that increases the rich-poor gap is crushing it. You can thank Reagan for that.

  • @highwater03 Tax cuts for everybody is the way to get this economy running again. Every dollar sent to Washington means a little less freedom.

  • @chaumont20

You're obviously a troll. You're getting owned on this thread yet continue to spout GOP gibberish. This woman did more in her life than you'll ever do. Quit trying to hijack this dedication to her with your Republican garbage. You're the same people that wish every DAY civil rights had never passed. Im glad you all have the racist stigma tied to your party. So happy. Everyone else is thanking this great lady and you're the only ass on here. Clarence Thomas? rofl

  • @chaumont20

And since your Republican news network is fair and balanced, why did CNN and MSNBC cover her death, yet FOX News didn't? Why? What do they have against civil rights? Had this been a racist Republican who had died, they'd have been praising him, like they do Limbaugh and Hannity. Fuck off GOP troll. Trying to turn what this lady did into GOP BS. Fuck you and that sellout Clarence Thomas. He couldn't even get into a GOP country club!

  • @highwater03 Only a hater would call Clarence Thomas a sell out. Sometimes the haters cry racist to hide their own hatred. If President Obama was there FOX news covered it. BTW, Limbaugh was right Mcnabb was overrated, ask any Phily fan.

  • @chaumont20

And only a jackass would hijack a thread dedicated to this great woman to spout GOP drivel. Go kiss Thomas's ass now.

  • @highwater03 Well we know you hate Justice Clarence Thomas. I love listening to Bishop TD Jakes should I kiss his ass also ?

  • Beautiful, Obama never forgets anyone or anything! RIP DR HEIGHT, thank you for everything :(

  • Thank You President Obama for that Great speech.

  • R.I.P DR. DOROTHY I. HEIGHT

  • dorothy height is such an influential person i know.....god bless her and then she got to meet mr. president..........it was so sad but yet kind of a turn on when barack started to cry

  • @tjd886 when did he start to cry?

  • @tyu3456 it wasnt on caught on video but they had some pictures

  • Bless her soul, and Prayers go out.

  • It brings me to tears that Our President Obama took the time to celebrate this wonderful lady's life!!!!

  • @groundhog2008

Yes, me too. And President Obama takes time to celebrate EACH special date, event, religious or ethnical Day, with a short Speech, in many languages when necessary, so that EACH Minority or Part of His Fellow Citizens feel as honored as, to-day, Dr. Height. Kindly, and simply. As He is.

You can easily find that on the WH (and YouTube) Sites. Go and look. That too, very often, brings tears in the eyes.

    Best Regards.

  • With all of the racism she's fought in her life, bet she never thought she would have an opportunity to meet with a President 21 times. God bless her.

  • My Soror Dorothy Height will live on forever. Deltas every where stand proud to have had this pioneer woman be a significant part of history and our organization
