Oregon looked like a fantastic team while they were playing cupcakes...until they played Auburn and LSU. I can think of several teams since 1985 that could probably take them to the woodshed.
Tebow was one of the most committed players I ever saw in college and that season really defined his commitment and determination to win, I honestly think he is destined for great things.

Man I would love to have seen florida vs. Boise in the 09-10 sugar bowl. florida would have shut them damm potato eater up. I am so damm sick of hearing how they don't get respect. It would have enormous fan appeal for Florida, Alabama, LSU or one of the other heavyweights to schedule Boise State. The fans would love it. By the way, Georgia in my estimation is also a heavyweight. That Boise State QB is awesome and the guy they just recruited is allegedly even better. Let TCU, Boise State, Nevada and others into the big tent to compete and I believe we will all wonder why it took so long to get a playoff system.

Give Georgia credit for being willing to play Boise State. I am NOT a Boise State student, alum or even associated with that school, for the record. I just think failure to even allow them to play for the marbles is not the American way. A playoff system is the fairest and gives little schools (like Boise State) a fair enough chance. Then we would find out on the field, instead of having backroom shenanigans decide it.
