I just watched the video recording of this performance - they really sang out their souls!

Please, you should tag this video with the names of the singers, Tatiana Monogarova and Vsevolod Grivnov, it was just by fluke that I found this and maybe a lot of others would like to find it as well :)

Just amazing... wish he wrote more opera.. The 2nd tableau must be one of the finest things I've ever heard from Rach.. This duet version here is so much more intense than the one i have on CD. Thank you for posting !

Why does the singing cut out after 4:20? Rachmaninov's most beautiful bars of music are the sung moments at 4:50, which here is omitted.
