Its only their "coolness" that lessens... of which I have no care for. Id rather play amazingly well and look at my hands rather than not look at my hands and fuck up a solo.

How long have you been playing? I've been playing for 1 and a half years now and I'm close to sweeping. Have any tips, bro?

Ive been playing for about 3 and a half years... and Ive been sweeping for about 7 months. I can do sweeps about 10 times better than what you see in this video. I would suggest learning and mastering alternate picking before sweeping. Then slowly go over an easy arpeggio shape until youve got it in muscle memory. Build up speed as you go... thats how we all learned. Sweep picking is 100% done by muscle memory.

Lol, well I'm sure with practice you'll get just as good. I've been playing for approximately 3 1/2 years, maybe 4. I practice for a minimum of an hour a day... minimum. Ive gotten much better since I recorded this video months ago. I just recently put this on as a showcase, however outdated.

Lol, nope. I was sweeping with a pick, but I guess I hold the pick differently when I sweep so that it looks like my wrist is making contact with the strings. Dunno. Thanks for the compliment though.
